I'm not a fan of mystery books; moreover, the presence of sexual scenes also puts me off.
Thanks for the review.

I like that the characterization in the book is done distinctively; it makes it easy to flow with the book. However, I think I'll pass on this one now!

Interesting title and cover. I like the fact that the worldbuilding is good, the characters are well developed, and that LGBT stuff is included. The differing viewpoints would be jarring to me, though.

This book review tells the tale that revolves round the life of a designer who has to live with the errors of the society. Mindless of the circumstances, she struggles through different mishaps to keep her head above water in New Orleans. Quite a very thorough description but I will pass reading the book because of the profane scenes the book contains. Congrats on BOTD

When I saw that the story is based on New Orleans, I expected some supernaturals and I'm glad I was not disappointed.

An intriguing story about Georganne life and different struggles to stay balance. While I love the thrilling aspect of this book, I'm not so in on the LGBT theme inside. Thanks for this review. Congrats to the author on BOTD

The plot sounds exciting and, when paired with the engaging worldbuilding, it seems like the perfect read for someone who wants to get lost in an engrossing suspense and mystery thriller. I'll sample it for sure. Thank you for the detailed review.

I love books that focus on worldbuilding, as I like to be fully immersed in the book. Thanks for the review, I think I'd like to read the first book before this one.

The supernatural components and New Orleans setting of this book reminds me a bit of the show The Originals. Between both of those aspects, and the quality worldbuilding and inclusion of LGBTQ+ I think this book could be a favorite of mine. I think I'll put it, or maybe the first book in the series, on the top of my reading list. Thanks for the informative review!
