Kira decides to mix her mother’s ashes to paint a canvas to commemorate her mother and feel close to her. She paints for others who wish to commemorate their loved ones, and she ends up reliving some of the memories of the deceased. One of them hints at being a serial killer. A place of comfort turns into a series of horrible events for Kira.

I find Jody's premise quite unique and commend her creativity in coming up with such a unique plot, turning a painting career into a horror storyline. Thanks for the review.

This book has an intriguing storyline, but some of the content mentioned in the review left me uncomfortable, so I'll give this book a pass. Thank you for the review.

Normally, horror isn't the genre I find appealing, but after reading the description provided in the review, I found the concept the book relates to quite intriguing and became interested despite myself. Thank you for your recommendation and congratulations with BOTD!

The story's supernatural twist and the horror element make it sound intriguing. I'm curious about the serial killer being "not quite dead." Thanks for the review!

I like the fact that Kira's intention to honor her mother with her painting turned out to be a successful business. Nice review!

I love how the review emphasizes the book’s original and engrossing plot. The combination of art and supernatural horror is intriguing. Despite the rushed relationship between Kira and Sean, the overall mystery seems captivating.

The plot sounds intriguing. I just knew there was going to be problems mixing the ashes of the dead with paint. For goodness sake, that already sounds fetish and creepy. Messing with things of the dead or things with supernatural implications have always been a no-no.
