That introductory quote is just everything! Really, to investigate a problem equals solving it. I can't agree less.

I love anything that involves investigation. I believe it stretches the brain muscles. When I was young I used to love the James H. Chase series. This book seems to be right up my alley. Thanks to the author for a free copy and congrats for making #BOTD

A combination of thriller, intrigue, investigative inquisition and a hint of romance sounds like something I would enjoy very much. Very insightful review.

Murder mysteries are often intriguing, and the fact that the victim is a former cop sound especially promising. One would automatically want to blame the wife, considering that they were on the vacation to try and fix their marriage, but nothing is ever what it seems in such books. Thank you for the helpful review.
