It's a shame the crime was solved so simply because I love suspense. The dry dialogues are not a serious problem for me, but I think I will not consider reading this book. Thanks for the review.

I'm curious to know who might be behind the murder of a company's CEO and the smuggling of military weapons. This mudery mystery book sounds great if not for the narrative issues. Congrats on botd!

Murder in the garbage

This book details the day events leading up to working at TWM. After leaving the military he applies for a job on a garbage truck. His ambition is to study at college. So far he is dating the receptionist from the garbage tip office. They go out to the local Chinese restaurant.
This book is boring. About 1 out of 4 but it is easy to read a written well. A day in the garbage tip couldn’t be a more boring topic. It was okay.
Congrats on being BOTD

This sounds like an interesting book however it's unfortunate that the story lost points because of the issues mentioned. Hopefully, future books in the series won't have the same issues. Congratulations on making book of the day!

I am not sure if it would enjoy this one based on your review! I love a good mystery, but not when it’s slow going. Thanks for the honest review!

I can't stand stereotyping. I hope it is edited out, if possible. However, I like the book's message on not wasting food. And, surely, the book's thriller plot is intriguing.

Congrats on BOTD. While mysteries are my favorite, I don't think I would like the one that has the crime solved by engaging in long conversations.

Jerry Greenberg is a great writer; there is no denying that. It is such a shame that this novel was very robotic in its tone. Hopefully since this review, the writer has taken your feedback into consideration for future novels, as the murder mystery with the landfill is very unique to me. Thanks for the review!

"Murder in the Garbage" by Jerry A. Greenberg is the first book in this murder mystery series. Raoul Martez became a trash collector and is thankful for his partner but he strongly dislikes the upper management. Then the CEO of Trinity Waste Management turns up dead in a trash container and CIA agent uncovers an illegal network involved in trafficking stoen military weapons. This hooked me on this book and series. How strange that the CEO ends up dead in a trash container. This story takes place in San Antonio, Texas and based on the official review I highly recommend it.

The idea of this story had me intrigued. When your review explained the typical corporate-style job; overworked, underpaid, and underappreciated- turned into a murder mystery, I thought this book would be one I would want to read. But then it went downhill fast for me. I have a hard time keeping interested in slow-moving stories. And I know I would have difficulty keeping up with the storyline if I had difficulty not getting lost with who said what because the characters all sound alike. It's a shame, though. It seems the author had a unique idea for a plot but fell short with details to create the story in the reader's mind. Thank you for the review.

I appreciate how the author, while tackling a murder story, brought attention to local problems like pay cuts and overworked people. I'd like to know how much of it was covered in the book, though. Congrats on botd!

The book captured my attention as it relates to waste management, however, it is not right to treat people in a bad manner because you are above them in statues.
