This book is my kind of book, I look forward to reading it. Based on the rating, I can deduce that this book was well-edited. Great review. Congratulations on BOTD.

I have a negative perception on gambling, so the suicide shenanigan is not new to me. I've seen reports in kidnapping when some gamblers failed to clear their debts. There's something ominous in the plot, which I don't find surprising. I guess Gloria is involved because she wants to stop people from investigating the anomaly in the online gambling. Congratulations on the BOTD.

I have to admit that I don't have much interest in the gambling problem. It is an issue though, that much I know. This sounds like a really compelling read and I'd like to see what Cara does about the issue. Very insightful review, thanks.

I'm not a huge fan of crime thrillers but this sounds like one I would enjoy reading. The reviewer did a great job on the review. Well done.

I've never been to a casino or indulged in online gambling. However, with online gambling's proliferation everywhere, it's in our best interest to find out how these things affect people psychologically.

Sounds like a very compelling book. Casinos are definitely an addiction like everything else cam be for those with the predisposition. It would be interesting to read all the statistics though.

I've no doubt gambling can be addictive, but I really didn’t see how it could make good fiction. But I now see this book has the politics around the problem. I'd venture further to say the politics are by-products of the root; capitalism. If that comes out in the story, then I'm bound to enjoy it.

Seems engaging, however, since I'm not a fan of gambling stories, I'll pass this review on to lovers of this genre. All the same, congrats on BOTD.

I don't know anything about casinos. I've never really understood how people get addicted to losing everything just to win a huge sum of money. Seems like a bad deal to me.

Although this is a fictional book, the author has included actual statistical data concerning addictions and the government's involvement in keeping the gambling industry profitable. Congratulations on BOTD!

I'm sure this is a great and thrilling book. I remember there was a scene like this in Percy Jackson, they were trapped in a casino where they couldn't stopped themselves to play. I will never understand gambling but this books really sounds great. I'll definitely give this a try.

Gambling is just as addictive as other indulgences, though the price for an indulgence may vary in effect. I love that this author didn't demonize gamblers but portrayed them as victims of their desires, just like we all can be. It's not news that the government supports highly profitable industries, so the gambling industry is not an exception. This book is well written and is presented with factual information about the central topic. I love it.
