I find it difficult to relate with this book from this review. This sparked my curiosity to really understand how keeping and burying a dead body could lead to series of other crimes. Why is Gilly's past haunting her?

I like reading thriller and mystery books. Yet I must admit that I am not entirely sure of what is going on in this novel. I suppose I'll have to read it myself to really comprehend. I appreciate the review. Congratulations on winning BOTD!

Great review indeed. The story seems interesting with work following up a 12 year old up until she's of age and even married. One can't really tell what life can unfold to become. This is a must read for me.

This seem to be a sad tale portraying a dark story. Why in the first place did Sally and Gilly have a dead baby at age 12? What events led to the death? I'd love to find out....This seems to be a very intense crime story with a touch of mystery. I will read the book.

Murder mystery, anticipation, thrill and relationships are all expertly entwined in the book. I agree that developing solid relationships is undoubtedly advantageous and more valuable than finances. Nice review.

A treasure, this book. I had a hard time putting it down because of the intriguing blend of suspense and small-town charm. At the right moments, the author leaves you hanging.
I'm eager for the upcoming one.Congratulations on BOTD!

This is a unique storyline. I love the murder mystery aspect. I love that the book shows how impressionable children are and naive. I think adults in Gilly's town could have handled the situation better since she was just a child. Can't wait to read it. Congrats on BOTD.

The storyline of this novel is indeed exciting and entertaining, with each act committed many years ago, the memory would not fade and it would haunt her for a very long time.

I am going through a whole lot of pains right now, hoping that time heals me. And now, I fear falling into hate, for as seen from in this book, even though time heals all wounds, the chance of doing same for hate is slight. This is properly illustrated with such characters as Mr. Maloney and Tim.

Some actions never leave us and are likely to follow us to the grave. I would want to know why Gilly and her friend decided to keep a dead baby. Nice review, congrats on BOTD.

Gilly's past seems to have been hunting her present. I'm sure a lot of twists were in this mystery thriller. I also hope that Gilly confronted her past to find happiness in the end. Congrats on BOTD.

I think that, no matter the kind of guilt we may feel, forgiving one's self is the first step towards healing. I can't imagine how hard it must have been for Gully throughout life. Congrats on BOTD.

This book has strong negative emotions such as guilt and hatred. It is hard to fathom what would make 12 year olds bury a child instead of running to their parents or any other adult.
