The personal touch in the review, expressing satisfaction and a bit of heartwarming experience, resonated with me. Knowing that the book teaches a bit about empathy makes it even more appealing. A well-rounded and emotionally resonant story is always a plus for me.

The sample was quite interesting. I like how the author describes the scenes and environments so vividly, bringing in just the right amount of information while leaving the reader with curiosity, causing a lingering yearning to continue turning the pages. The review amplifies this yearning by highlighting a specific jaw-dropping chapter as well as indicating the lessons one can extract from this book.

I guess the book is really intriguing for it to earn a five-star rating. I hope Mac gets the reconnection with his mom and makes her a priority in his life. I hope he is able to set his whole life straight again.

I loved how the review delved into the simplicity of the language used in the book. Simple yet engaging language is a win for me. The mention of the relaxing narrator's voice adds another layer of appeal, making it sound like a great audiobook experience!

It's undoubtedly a mystery for Mac. Balancing the challenges of dealing with her mother's health problems, including her mental well-being, is no small feat. Moreover, the homelessness crisis and the ongoing pandemic add another layer of mystery, with recurring deaths of people in their vicinity.
I believe in something greater than myself.

The exploration of homelessness and the associated societal reservations intrigued me. It's commendable how the author weaves these issues into the narrative, adding depth to the story. The reveal in the fifty-fifth chapter sounds like a game-changer, and I'm curious to experience that jaw-dropping moment.

Sounds like an interesting fictional story. Will MAC ever rebuild the bond between him and his mother? I will read the book to find out.

In this book, Mac wants to reconnect with his mother but has to deal with some issues such as his mother's weight issue, issue of his apartment's annoying new management, and many more. The story is interesting, and the characters are well-developed. Nice review.
