I notice that Jack Winnick's series is often chosen as BOTD. I'm sure I would've been a great fan of it myself if it didn't seem to promote Islamophobia.

The Date Farm, the fourth book in the Lara and Uri saga by author Jack Winnick, shows us, once again, the greatness of the author's writing but, unfortunately, also his Islamophobia and biases.

When reading reviews from different people, it is interesting to see the different aspects highlighted. I like the reference to heroes or villains not being linked to nationality, to get away from prejudice.

It’s nice to see familiar characters return in a series and I appreciate how this book can be read as a standalone. It’s interesting to explore the motivation behind heroism and villainy, so this book certainly sounds interesting. A thought-provoking read that highlights the work of the unsung heroes just doing their jobs and fighting to keep freedom alive.

A very nice action thriller "The Date Farm" by Jack Winnick, which follows a horrific massacre occurred at a Los Angeles mall, resulting in many casualties. The book appears very much captivating to me.

I like how Lara and Uri’s relationship develops throughout the series as they face various challenges and dangers together, as well as learn more about each other’s backgrounds and cultures. They also develop a mutual attraction and respect for each other, despite their different nationalities and religions. Together, they face threats, difficulties, challenges, and differences. They also get engaged and plan to get married. In this fourth book, The Date Farm, they are married and living in Israel. The author creates a perfect blend of realism and entertainment by combining factual and fictional elements, as well as action and emotion. Thanks for sharing this nice review. Congrats on #BOTD!

"The Date Farm" by Jack Winnick, particularly noting its honoring of unsung heroes in international espionage. The characters' private thoughts and dilemmas are explored, delving into their dedication and tough choices. The book challenges perceptions of heroes and villains, emphasizing individual choices over nationality biases. The story stands well alone, providing context for readers unfamiliar with the series. The book enjoyable, well-paced, and thought-provoking, earning rating five out of five.

The exploits of Uri and Laura are expertly kept interesting and suspenseful by Winnick. Laura and Uri are summoned to assist in putting an end to an attack on New York City. In an attempt to obtain information on the stolen items, the enemy goes undercover on a date farm after fleeing with them. Congrats on BOTD.

Thanks for such a great detailed review 📝

I enjoyed all the twists and turns the author throws at the reader in this book. I was eager to figure out what new issues Lara and Uri would attempt to tackle. Jack Winnick has successfully written new and exciting exploits for his two agents.
I also enjoyed the depiction of cutting edge FBI advancements. The FBI gear the characters were given was constantly depicted in a fascinating and engaging manner..👏👏

Superb review. You highlighted every aspect that might interest readers or turn them away. You indicated that the author created good and bad characters on both ends of the spectrum—the culprits and heroes. This would reduce the bias associated with genres like this that seem to perpetuate the falsehood that all Arabs are terrorists.
