This was actually the first book I read and reviewed for this site, so I still have fond memories of it. I agree with everything you said, but especially Stewart's characterization. For that reason, I disliked the very end, but otherwise it was an excellent read.

Very interesting review. I have to admit that mystery is not my most loved genre but you made me changed my mind and I think I will enjoy very much this book. Thank you for the good job done with the review and congratulations to the author for this amazing book.

I enjoyed reading the reviews. I must say that I enjoy books without gory details and blood since I use reading to relax. However, the reviews made some of the characters to come alive so that I' d like to meet them. A book set to set my heart pounding I' m sure.

I really enjoyed this book, I was kept guessing as well as to who was the murderer throughout the book, which I think is the best in a crime novel. Great review

I actually enjoyed the developing relationship between Denise and Tom, but I guess that is a matter of what you are looking for in a book. I agree with you, though, about the grizzly nature of the murders. Thanks for the review.

I reviewed this one too; while I enjoyed it, for a police procedural it had too many glaring plot holes for my liking.

Great review. I know this book isn't for me, but your review has made it seem interesting even though this book is about murder. I liked how you mentioned the book has some real life pieces about the police dealing with information.

Great review, and I agree, it's hard to put down. My take on Stewart was that she mellowed throughout the story as she got to know the team. When she is first introduced, she had been transferred after having problems with her previous team. As she got to know Sheehan's team, she realized that not everyone hated her or thought she couldn't do the job because she is female.

The idea of recurring murders exactly 24hrs apart is aa great idea for a crime novel plot. I'm excited to check out to see if it lives up to the review!
