Review:
I managed to read the sample in my spare time. I felt as though there was a lot of over explaining. While I do love Mike and Susan so far, I feel like there was a lot of things mentioned too early or at least could have gone without the overview commentary.
Spoiler(maybe though I think most if not all read the same sample I did): The whole part about the radon. It was already explained to the reader and then again by Mike to Ralph. It kind of drags on... also explaining the history of each character right as they are introduced is abit much. I feel it could do better putting things in order not saying their future right when you meet them, along with exact years for some reason?
The information made me like the characters themselves but the over analyzing doesn’t really make me want to go finish the rest. I could be wrong and it picks up later. For now, the beginning chapters are just very rushed.
