Racism in the american context where religious leaders volunteered to fight against it, I really like the way the review laid it. I will like to read the book to get more on how the battle was fought as there was Dalton who was fighting against Khan who was representing African Americans. Thanks for the good review.

Mixed Blessings appears like a novel about racial differences existing in America. The author portrays how whites and people of color use religion to prove their point. This professionally edited book includes many interesting characters. I recommend this book to readers who like to read on American racism.

Racism is quite alive and thriving today, make no mistake about that. It is a part of our society's cultural and historical identity. A very concise and thought-provoking piece. Well done!

I like the racial discussions introduced by this book. In a world that still hates others for no reason, this is a relevant subject. Thanks for the review.

The imagery was beautiful. But I found myself more interested in the lives of the side characters. That being said, the author delves into the racial divides with gusto. I'm excited to read more.

In Mixed Blessings, we see, among others, Pastor Tucker Dalton who employs his religious beliefs to unite his followers. These followers came with experience in the use of heavy artillery and could rage wars against the new ‘race’ being created by Kublai Khan and Hung Suk. I find the story to be ideal for readers who enjoy reading plots that revolve around well-developed characters.

A story based on racial discrimination and dominance will resonate with some readers. It is a prevalent subject in today's times. I don't think this book appeals to me though, as the subject matter seems a bit on the negative side. Thanks for the great review, nice job!

'Official Review: Mixed Blessings by J.M. Muse' gives me an idea of the social injustice prevalent in the society. It instills in me the thought to broaden my area of knowledge about this topic. It serves as a background of the story for the readers!

Thank you for sharing your review with us. I wholeheartedly agree with you that we are born into race and it should not be something we should need to defend. I thoroughly enjoyed the first chapter and I was rather disappointed to learn that this is not actually the main story.

Racism is like a plague whose prevalence rate has increased in recent years. It's a matter that raises mixed feelings among people. The book highlights the matter, thus educating people about racism in the American context. I would love to read the book, but can't due to personal reasons. Good job in your review.
