It's a mystery thriller. I think I would love to read the book with its mystery and a good pace. It's a great review.

Thanks for your review, I believe that any mystery-thriller should have some humor in it and it sounds as if the author was successful in that regard.

The review is enough to arouse my curiosity about this thriller book. Especially, the comedy running through which makes the atmosphere light and keeps the read interesting. Thanks for a nice review!!

The fact that Philip contemplates whether the events at Logram Research are real or a dream confuses me a little bit. It does not give me a clear view of the book. For a moment, it makes me think it's a fantasy or sci-fi novel. However, I guess I'll have to read it to find out.

A fun-to-read novel, hence there were gleeful scenes that made the story lighter, yet you still get thrilled. You got to feast an eye on the mystery of Winston and Benny's story.

Shifting Sands is an amazing mystery-thriller novel written in the first-person narrative. However, I do not find this genre of book interesting, so I'll sit this one out.

This seems like such an intriguing mystery! I mean, who doesn't like a good twist? That's some great writing. I would like to be thrown into this roller coaster. Thanks for the wonderful review!

'My only quibble with its description as a mystery-thriller is that it overlooks the rich thread of comedy running through the story.' For me, this sentence is by far the most captivating part of this review.
This sounds like something I'd love to read. Beautiful review.

I am glad to see Phil, Winston, and Slattery from Waves Break return for a sequel! Litherland is such a talented author. His ability to weave humour throughout otherwise serious topics is one of the best features of his books. This next installment of Phil's story is guaranteed to keep readers hooked to the end. Thanks for the great review!
