I love the idea of this book. Seems like a perfect read, as established by the author in the bit that I have read. Well done.

Yes, sign me up for the 'driven crazy' brigade. Actually, it's not so much not knowing what becomes of them - you get a pretty good hint with the first two - but not finding anyone I care enough about to carry on reading. For me, dystopian fiction tends to work better backwards - show me this world and then, when I'm hooked - given me some indication of how it got that way. I need something on which to hang my 'willing suspension of disbelief'. I found it interesting to read such a different take on the scenario and on the writer's methods.

This definitely sounds like and interesting read. I’m not sure about the incomplete characters though and that may frustrate me or leave plot holes. I’m always ready for a book with a dystopian plot though and this one seems to be different from the traditional.

Going Gone is a very descriptive book. It's not really the type of book I like to read, but it grabbed my attention and drew me in.

Thank уоu for уоur honest rеviеw. ''Going Gоnе' is еxtrеmеlу a thriller. In the bооk, the аuthоr makes a соnсеivаblе "аросаlурѕе" ѕituаtiоn that рlауѕ оut with сооl рrесiѕiоn. It will kеер rеаdеrѕ turning pages аѕ thеу rеvеаl thе diffеrеnt соmроnеntѕ thаt аddѕ tо the еnd of thе world аnd perceive how thе devastation рlауѕ оut. Although, there are still many questions unanswered. But overall, I likе thiѕ bооk and would read it again.

I don't think I've ever come across a book like this. It's different and unique on its on. The review shed some light to it too.
And I think if there was its movie it'll be interesting.

A fast-paced anthology showing multiple viewpoints about the assassination of a world leader. I usually do not read dystopian novels, but your very insightful review has piqued my interest! Well done!

It would be interesting to see how the assassination of one person affects the world. Especially if you can see that affect through several different point of views. I'm not particularly interested in this genre but the book and its concept sound interesting.

I read some sample chapters today, and your review helped me to clarify some of the content. I like the idea of having a storyline going along with various points of view. To me, that’s similar to real life. We all perceive circumstances in a different way, so that sounds quite intriguing. Too bad about the errors in writing because I found just from the sample that the pace was good. So a little clean up on this one will make it shine.
Everything happens for a reason...

It got to me when I read that each chapter is the demise of a country from another perspective. This really is interesting and I have to say that I would love to read this book. Also that chapter with Jessie and the LARGOnauts seems captivating. Thank you for the review!

I haven't had the time to read this since my original comment [on page 4], but it still sounds intriguing, showing one event from several viewpoints. I still don't know that I could get over not knowing what happens to the characters, though; I prefer tidy endings that tie at least most things up, even if a sequel is coming up... Thanks again for the review!

A series of vignettes, each separated, yet works together to tell the story of a collapse of a society, a conflict between Israel and the United States about the assassination of the Prime Minister of Israel which lead to retaliation, an investigative report joining LARGO - Legion Above, Reaping God Overseer- a cult that she believes the missing senator have joined....... really interesting I must say. Great review.

Thank you for your clarifying review of Going Gone by Abramah Lopez. It's not easy a task to create something really innovative in the genre of dystopia. I don't find the subject matter of the book appealing.

Thank you for such a detailed and insightful review. Being a newspaper editor and writer, the grammar mistakes will distract me but I am intrigued. I study a lot of the world relations in reference to the US and it's true fault in much chaos around the world so this is a very believable (and possibly pulled from truth) plotline. I do like the focal point of telling the story from the event and unfolding ripples of it. Your informative review makes me want to check it out further.
