Wow, the author seeMs to have mastered the skill of telling a story greatly, but I am afraid that book does not seem to be my cup of tea.

I can only imagine the pain Matthias went through after losing 10 fingers and his face. I would love to read this as it’s plot sounds captivating and it was professionally edited.

From the sounds of it, this seems like a great book. I'm really interested to see the switch between the first and third person perspective - it seems like the author is a great writer. Thanks for the insightful review!

I like how you began your review of Callaghan, vol. 1 & 2 by praising the author and highlighting the great storytelling the book encompasses. It's good that your review is succinct and that you were able to communicate your ideas and insights with just a few words. Thank you since this book served as a tool to help me determine if I'll acquire the title or not. Congratulations to the author for BOTD!

The author sounds like a very gifted writer and story teller. The storyline sounds tantalizing and intriguing. I'm interested in the characters the author so vividly described and brought to light. Congrats to the author for BOTD selection.

This relates to tales of underworld where people fake identities to reach or gain certain things. This is no fake though. It is an intriguing stories; a bit frightening. Good review.

Someone losing their face isn't the story we normally hear about. This must be really interesting! Thank you for the review.

Matthias Callaghan's story is intriguing. I'd really love to know what measure of badluck can cause a man to lose his face and his fingers and not even remember it. That's seems like a near-incomprehensible level of trauma to me.

I can't imagine how it would feel to lose someone's face. Face is a bigger part of a person's identity. But he also lost his 10 fingers. That seems to be one of the most traumatic things to happen, it sicken me. I would love to find out how it happened. Congrats on BOTD!!

this does, indeed, sound like masterful storytelling. From trading just a little, I can see that the suspense is maintained by revealing only a little at a time. This has made me want to know both what caused Callaghan's injuries and what happened next. All I can guess is that he got mixed up with some really bad people. I shall have to read the book to find out.

The first book definitely takes identity theft—well, identity loss—to the next level. With him losing his face and all ten fingers, SOMEONE did not want Matthias easily identified. The second book seems to prove a very important point we tend to forget about revenge: it’s a vicious cycle that always bites you in the butt. Reminds me of one of my favorite sayings, “An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind.” Together, these books definitely sound thrilling, and they’re just the beginning. Thank you for the helpful review.

Forced change of identity, Russian Mafia, revenge, and making the best out of a bizarre situation. These books challenges readers to think outside the box and imagine a different reality from what they are used to.

This book has sparked my curiosity. Losing your face and other body part? I'd love to read more. And putting myself in such traumatic shoes is even crazier!
