I love the romanticism in this book. Sure, the suspense appears to clash with the romance-inducing descriptions but I appreciate the presence of both. The author is quite skilled in imagery, the scenes were vivid as a result.

The book cover made me think that it's a romance novel. And, the book does include a romance between Cindy and Alonzo but this novel is, first, an excellent suspense book about fund embezzlement by government officials.
