Thank you for this excellent review. I am a fan of dystopian books and look forward to reading this different format. It sounds very interesting and somewhat believable based on the current world events. I look forward to this different format of 12 chapters each revealing a new character and finding out what happens to the world as a result of the assassination of the Israeli P.M.

I love your honesty. I can't say that I'm sold on reading this book because I'm typically character driven. The way you've described Going Gone kind of reminds me of The Twilight Zone. There seems to be a message to be gained, but at the expense of character development. Static characterization is a great technique used by author's to draw more focus to the plot. It's definitely not a bad aspect. However, it just may not be for me. I'm not one for casting dogmatic judgements, so I'm not going to dismiss the possibility of ever picking Going Gone up, but I'll need some more convincing.

Protagonists, the demise of a nation.
I'd have loved to give this one a try, but I'd rather leave it out. Trust me, I'll go insane if I'm left with questions on what happened to a character.
When it comes to directing the world to work with you, age doesn't matter, race doesn't matter, origin doesn't matter.

Showing a country's demise through a series of related stories sounds like an interesting format for this kind of story. It's too bad about the errors.
You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

I am totally sold on this book after reading your review. I have never read a story that’s written with so many characters and each chapter adding to a better understanding of one point needing to be made. Great review thank you.

Thanks for the interesting review. Dystopia is not a genre I read but the book sounds great.

Even if l don't like this type of books l want to say that the writer could better describe and write more details of each person. The story is interesting, but l don't prefer reading that genre.

I would be curious to read this book to find out what actually happens. I think it's interesting that each chapter is about a different person but yet it all still connects. I have read a few books lately that have been in a similar format.

I like a story about political scheming. Normally, I shy away from dystopian novels but this one sounds more like a political thriller than a doomsday story. So, yes I would love to read it.

I was already hooked after reading the synopsis but after reading your review I can't wait to get started. Oh why did it have to be Israel??

Going Gone by Abraham Lopez.

This book is a series that demonstrates how a nation is easily collapsed by unlawfulness. There is a lot of action which makes the book thrilling and poses a temptation to continue reading. The author has done an excellent work in merging the stories to bring out a major theme which is the demise of a society.

Thank you for a job well done on the review of Going Gone. However, based on the review, you mentioned that this is a dystopian novel. Though this might be very interesting to other book lovers but this is not my cup of genre that I will sit in to read but it seems a very nice plot. :tiphat:
