That's an interesting story involving good friends with different family backgrounds and environment where one sees abuse from his brother and mum and wishes for the life of the his(Wayne) friends and the other feels like his(Philip) isn't too good. And the presence of Tina changes Wayne behavior in class. Wayne, Philip, Stevie and Tina truly good friends. And the story keeps creating suspense forcing you to be more curious. I enjoyed reading the sample given and liked Wayne's attitude of always getting up when been hit.

Childhood friendships can often become confusing and convoluted when traumatic experiences, memories, and reckless shenanigans come into play. I do love a well-edited novel with bits of mystery, humor, and realistic scenes of dialogue, so I might have to give this one a try. Thanks for the helpful review!

"The past comes back to haunt them."
This aspect caught my attention. I think I like this book.

Official Review: Waves Break (on Unknown Shores) by Barry Litherland well presents the essence of the book i.e. the nostalgia of stories involving childhood friendship! The information about the book given in the review is reliable as well as likeable! The full rating given to the book is impressive!

Ironical to the genre, the cover of the book looks so peaceful. Nice review.

Awesome review!!. The first sentence itself caught my interest. The story seems to have an amazing plot and interesting characters. I also like books with the presence of a strong female character. Looking at your review I think this book would make a lovely read.

This book sounds raw and real yet mysterious and intriguing. I'm not sure if I'm the right audience for it, but it sounds like an interesting read. I will sample it and see it for myself! Thank you for your insightful review.

I don't have any problem with profanity and I'm a huge fan of crime thrillers so this book seems like it's made for me. I was pretty impressed with the sample too. Thank you for the review.

I love suspense and crime thrillers. Usually I don't see a mix of childhood friendships and nostalgia with these kinds of stories so I really like the unique plot and premise. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for the thorough review!

A crime thriller filled with suspense, mystery, and a touch of humor thrown in. Plus, the characters are well-developed! I just read the sample, but I am not sure this book is for me. However, I am glad you enjoyed it; thank you for the detailed review!

I actually enjoy plot that's full of suspense and some harmony and friendship read, but not in on the profanity. However this is a book to read. Congrats on BOTD.
