Being a member of OnlineBookClub has brought me so much enlightenment! I thought juicy fruit was just fruit. Only now do I know that it is Thai marijuana. :eusa-think: Congrats on BOTD.

I think a book like this is always important to shed light on the difficulties of war. Books like these make you appreciate the sacrifice soldiers make for their country and loved ones.

This book sounds very interesting. Even though it’s fiction, I’m sure it’s an accurate rendition of a veteran fighting inner demons from his time in war. Definitely worth the try.

I would like to read the book. I want to know how someone will be able to fight the demons inside himself? How he will able to left the life he has living for years and start a new one? So many questions are popping up in mind and I want to answer all of them. I think it will be an adventure ride to know how the story goes. It’s a great review.

I find the theme of the book interesting. The protagonist's internal struggle with his post-war traumas and his refuge in the fumes of the weed. An interesting plot and the rigth amount of action packs a very promising triller. Lets see how the saga does.

I do have a couple of friends who enjoy playing with the magic dragon. I have seen them as far as their choices have taken them.
One lost everything. The other was dedicated to marketing the products to grow medicinal and recreational varieties.

Marijuana is a very curious crop with multiple beneficial effects, the consumption of which should be strictly regulated.
Make no mistake I'm not a pro-weed but I find it better to regulate than to ban.

Wow, this review is beautifully written and makes me intrigued and curious about this book. An intense depiction of literal war and figurative internal war. Seems well worth the read.

Nice review. This is different than other post war books. This intrigues me. It sounds suspenseful but also deals with realistic issues of coming back from war.

Thank you for sharing your review with us. I don’t think this sounds like the kind of book I would enjoy, but I will recommend it to others who I think might like it.

Everyone is fighting against their own inner demons, so I think it might be interesting to find out how he fights his as well as how he deals with the physical events going on around him. I will consider picking this one up at some point. Thank you for your wonderfully written review! Happy reading :techie-studyinggray:

This is an interesting plot with a Vietnam vet fighting his inner demons and not being able to settle down. Declan is going to face danger as both someone from his past and rail agents are trying to track him down because of Thai marijuana that he smuggled into the U.S. with the help of his cousin. Thanks for the review. Congratulations on BOTD.
