The book is a continuation spy thriller and it makes it more real when you have read the EAST WIND. The story brings out all political and other governance of all nations though only israel and middle east countries are mentioned but the war indirectly includes other European countries as they aid support somehow. Lara and Uri form a great work force to bring this war to an end. Recommend for action readers to read this book and i rate it 5 of 5 for its elaborative expressions.

Having Lara shift into more field work makes sense for added action, though I can see missing her computer specialist origin story. Growth over time is realistic but still bittersweet.

Thank you for sharing your review of Devil Among Us by Jack Winnick. It sounds like you are a fan of the Lara and Uri series and enjoyed the second installment. I’m glad you found the story thrilling and suspenseful, and that you appreciated the author’s knowledge and portrayal of the Middle East situation. You have written a very comprehensive and balanced review that covers the main aspects of the book and its themes. I like how you explained your reasons for liking or disliking certain elements of the story, and how you avoided spoilers for potential readers.

I have not read Devil Among Us myself, but your review has made me curious about it. I’m interested in how Lara and Uri work together to solve the mystery of the synagogue bombing and prevent a bigger attack on Israel. I also wonder how their personal relationship evolves and what challenges they face. You have given the book a very high rating, which is impressive. I’m sure the author would appreciate your feedback and praise for their work.
