This book definitely sounds intriguing! After reading the free sample on Amazon, I had no idea it was a part of a series as the story is easy to follow on its own, from what I read. I appreciate your input on how the series characters appear later in the book and the story doesn't get too complicated. I also agree that it is a bit freaky to think that all of the technology discussed in the book is factual! I'm definitely adding this one to my list!

Prisallen, gives a good summary of the main characters in the story who work together to save the public from a Terrorist attack on their city's drinking water using a man-made poison not found in nature.
