The way Eddie's discovery of dead goldfish leads to a potential terrorist plot is fascinating. Lara and Uri's roles as experienced agents on a dangerous mission sound captivating.

The review gives us full summary of the book, it also gives us the content and the characters and their roles in the story.
From the review I really understand the content and the book feels the right type I can enjoy, a fast paced book.
Thanks for the review.

Because of the evolution of Lara and Uri in their careers and in their relationship, I think it would be fair to start this series with the very first book. This is one of my favourite series. It has the danger, terrorism, and political undertones that keep me glued. Congrats to the author for making BOTD!

This sounds like an interesting story! And the icing on the cake is that there are more books in the series. A good spy story is hard to come by and this review certainly is encouraging.

This is the first time I get a book to read about Uri and Lara, though I have heard about Uri and Mossad. I have read the sample, and I am eager to read the full book. A rare poison, that cannot be detected in lab tests, is used as a deadly weapon against the public of USA, the thrilling investigation by Uri and Lara, definitely worth reading. The review was great, touching every details.

Lara Edmond and Uri Levin demonstrate the spirit of high-quality intelligence and were so popular in their field which made the job very easy for them, I can see how swift it was for them to obtain confidential information without hesitation. Prisallen is also very good at the review

The first sections of the book were indeed captivating. The plan that the jihadists have in place is quite lethal. I definitely want to continue reading this book to the end.

Thanks for your informative review. I've only read the sample. Indeed it is a page turner. I totally agree that the author spelled out the details in a clear and straightforward manner. This made the reading experience easy and not boring. I might read this sometime later on.

Typically I'm not a fan of serials because it tends to cause me anxiety that I must keep up or complete the entire line, even if it doesn't appeal to me, so it is interesting that this story is a stand-alone. Spy thrillers aren't my forte either but the storyline with Isarel-USA does capture my attention.

The plot Jack Winnick opts for reflects his time spent in the Middle East. Another Lara and Uri suspense novel. I have no doubt that the fifth book in this series will be just as fascinating. Thanks for the BOTD!
