Because of the evolution of Lara and Uri in their careers and in their relationship, I think it would be fair to start this series with the very first book. This is one of my favourite series. It has the danger, terrorism, and political undertones that keep me glued. Congrats to the author for making BOTD!

A rare poison, that cannot be detected in lab tests, is used as a deadly weapon against the public of USA, the thrilling investigation by Uri and Lara, definitely worth reading. Typically I'm not a fan of serials because it tends to cause me anxiety that I must keep up or complete the entire line, even if it doesn't appeal to me, so it is interesting that this story is a stand-alone. Spy thrillers aren't my forte either but the storyline with Isarel-USA does capture my attention.
