Jack Winnick's international thriller, fifth in Uri and Lara popular series seems to be very intriguing. A sock from Iran found in the water contaminated with Pollonium, an extraordinary radioactive material difficult to detect becomes the clue for investigation. Will Uri and Lara succeed in finding out who is responsible for this? You have written the review very well.
Congratulations Jack on the BOTD again!

From the beginning, this did get my attention...I am somewhat surprised except I read on...Then the interest of science, fish, and birds effects. ...This is provoking from someone who's been to Iran....I did not want a book on terrorism at this time- even fictional...but! This is interesting to hear they were called to help. They are involved in the case as 1 st,2nd or 3 Rd characterization!...This is a great read for someone. I agree with preview.

Waterworks is an easy, pacy read with a subterfuge plot that will interest most readers of fiction. It is well written and edited. I particularly like the straightforward way in which the plot moves without requiring mental gymnastics to follow, what is essentially, a complex plot. Definitely recommend giving this a read if you like spy and conspiracy content!

I have read a free sample available on Amazon and so far I'm loving the pacing and suspense. Your mention of the author's meticulous attention to detail without sacrificing pacing is pretty accurate. Looking at the full review and 4/5 stars makes me wants to read more. I'll keep in mind the elements you highlighted about some sensitive subjects involving terrorism and violence. Looking forward to reading this lovely thriller!

Wow! This is my first time to read a review on a spy novel. I never really fancy spy novels but, this one got my attention real good. I got hooked up at the point when a sock was found in water that was identified as being made in Iran. Hmmm...That is really suspicious. Now I think I should read the waterworks to know what happens in the end of the story.

Absolutely! "Waterworks" by Jack Winnik is an incredible book that deserves all the praise it receives. The way Winnik beautifully weaves together the elements of water and adventure is truly captivating. The characters are so well-developed and relatable, and you can't help but get emotionally invested in their journey. The suspense and mystery throughout the book keep you on the edge of your seat, making it impossible to put down. Overall, "Waterworks" is a must-read for anyone looking for an exciting and thought-provoking story. Trust me, you won't be disappointed! 🌊📚

It baffles me why some persons would kill the creation of the God they claim they are fighting for. It is beyond me. Such a great writing congratulations on the BOTD.

I'm very much thrilled to read this book. Especially after reading this- "As he says, “The technology is also real—and available.” This makes it even more frightening.". It adds a different kind of excitement when you know that the things you read can happen in reality too. Thanks for the great review.
