Waking up to not knowing ones identity, losing ones face and fingers... Plenty trauma for a person. I understand why vengeance might be on the agenda and I look forward to reading how he achieved that and also knowing why Matthias had this problem in the first instance. Well done on a beautiful review.

I'm not an avid lover of fictional books. However, I found this one to be intriguing because it had engaging content. From Matthias Callaghan's memory loss to his recognizing his wife and other events unfolding were suspenseful. Great review.

The plot to this book sounds intense and profound. It follows the first book of a series of books so it is necessary to read the first one before reading the sequel. I'm curious to know how the protagonist deals with his identity crisis after losing his face and ten fingers. Congrats on the BOTD!

In this fictional novel Matthias wakes up after being hospitalised with no memory, face and without 10 fingers. Over time his memory started coming back and he wanted revenge. Great review.

Anyone who finds themself in Matthias position will be driven to take revenge. I mean, removing all ten fingers and the face is beyond horrible. I would love to see how he gets revenge.

The first thing that came to my mind while reading the summary was how similar it is to a movie for Jet Lee. I like where the story is heading; it sounds exciting to read. Thanks for the thorough review. Great job!

Losing one's face is like loosing one's identity and even life coupled with the pain from the injury Matthias sustained. What a life! Great review.

A crime thriller where the main character loses his face and ten fingers. It sounds suspenseful and I’d like to know what happened to Matthias to lose his face and fingers.

Vivid natation and description are very important in story writing, and I am glad Kim Ekemar got it right, offering readers the opportunity to develop a mental picture of the characters and the events. The combination of the first and third person points of view is a great step. All these should interest readers to read about Matthias Callaghan's and his attempts to seek redress.

Great review! it really seems a very interesting set of books written around a man whose life is torn apart by mysterious happenings. The plot has the pace of an action movie and the characters are well-developed.

Interesting!, Matthias must be extra vigilant and not too quick to make decisions. However l hope Matthias overcome all obstacles in order to be happy again.
