Winnick's work and series, are an apt read, for valuable insights into crisis management and the requisite skills, necessary for any enforcement professional, as such. Excellent review!

Although "Waterworks" offers a great story, it isn't very comforting to realize that most of the book's events are possible and highly probable. The villains are not some overblown cartoonish thugs out of a James Bond novel, nor are the plots of destruction offered as over-the-top episodes designed to create a rollicking, unlikely storyline. Instead, Winnick takes what’s known about the enemy and puts it into a real-world situation, creating a scenario that should scare the wits out of anyone.

In this story a terrorist attack happens; Los Angeles water is contaminated with polonium. Detectives Uri and Lara must find the culprits. I'm not interested in reading stories about terrorism; however, I congratulate the author because Waterworks is a popular book on OBC. Congrats on BOTD!

This review is definitely interesting. It gives an insight to the experience of the book. This is a book on terorism that I will definitely read. This review, reflect the level of profanity in the book which is minute and race my expectation to fully enjoy the book.

It is also interesting to know that the technology used in the book is also real and available. :D :D

It is amazing that such a little sock and chemical like that could create such great havoc. I wonder what the terrorists are out for. Hopefully, Lara and Uri will be able to find out. Congratulations to the author on winning book of the day.

Waterworks by Jack Winnick will keep you hooked with the thrilling and engaging plot. Water source pollution can have devastating effects, even more so if intended as a terrorist attack. Will Lara and Uri be able to avert this crisis in time? Read the book to know more. Congratulations on the BOTD!

A spy thriller that sounds like it could be made into a movie!!... I thoroughly enjoyed the review that managed to keep the story's secrets under lock and key.

Lara Edmond and Uri Levin's characters, both with backgrounds in international counterterrorism, sound like the perfect duo to tackle this high-stakes situation. Their involvement adds depth to the plot and promises an exciting investigation.

It is amazing how much people love this book. It is well written. I find it very interesting that there are so many but you can read them independently. It makes me question the character development. I love a story with great character development.

I'm intrigued by the thrilling plot and characters in Waterworks by Jack Winnick. The filtration plant poisoning and Lara and Uri's mission in Iran sound captivating.

An amazingly captivating thriller book "Waterworks" by Jack Winnick, featuring Lara Edmond and Uri Levin. In this book, the premise is set at the water purification unit contaminated with polonium. The book appears to be fast paced entertainer to me.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.
