Thank you so much for such a detailed review. I have not heard of Lara and Uri before...and as a thriller-spy story enthusiast, now I definitely want to read all the books on them. I am eagerly waiting to read this one though, as, with this review and the sample, my curiosity is peaked, and I definitely want to know what happens next! Thanks again for this review.

Yeah, I understand the reviewer's concern about how easily Lara and Uri got their spy jobs done; although these two are very experienced and sophisticated, some challenging situations in their exercises would have added to the story's thrill. Nevertheless, this is an amazing book and I hope to read about the adventures of these patriotic security in unraveling the incidents at the water treatment plant.

I am glad to read another book in the Uri and Lara series. I like how the author connects the characters in the book. How the book also contains plot twist also make it enjoyable. Nice review.

The book offers insights on how to deal with terrorist offenses and the intelligence agencies' tasks. As a result of the contaminated water, this book is well-named Waterworks.

I am halfway through already and I cannot seem to put it down! the intrigue is amazing and I don't mind the violence at all since I am used to reading stuff like that. the pro-USA and pro-israel povs are a tad bit icky but it is a quick read and I don't mind that much. thank you for a great review

The fifth book in the series of Uri and Lara talks about how polonium, a rare type of toxic radiation material, was found in water and was suspected to have been an Iranian terrorist attack. The book was written without confusion and the characters were well-developed. Nice review.

Right after this review, I went to read the book. And it is just as promised - exciting, clearly written, and easily understood. I love a good spy novel, and this one really checks off all the boxes for an exhilarating book ride. Plus, this book is alright as a stand-alone, which is great news, especially for me - because this means that the plot is fast moving, and not draggy.

If you love drama, concerned with environmental matters especially focusing on water management and the politics around water management, this book will be a perfect fit for you. It touches on challenges of individuals and communities in managing water resources. The book highlights the environmental issues, struggles and conflicts that comes with the use of water and the vitality of responsibility. This is an overall summary of the book as I do not want to spoil the contents of the book. It is educational yet interesting.
