This book looks very interesting, the gold fish remind me of rhe canaries they used to use in coal mines. It's unfortunate it is a pro Isreal book.

An interesting book in the series. The efforts of Lara and Uri in combating crime whenever they're called upon shows their resourcefulness and patriotism to the country.

I have read one book out of the Lari and Uri series and it was a thrilling read, I loved the political plot and the intriguing relationships between them. I hope I'll find this as good as the rest. Congrats on getting the BOTD!

I appreciate how Eddie Moskowitz was able to find out that the gold fish was dead. This showed how diligent he was at his job. Fantastic review!

Every book in the "Lara and Uri" series has been given detailed attention by Jack Winnick. Character development elevates the story and makes it an engrossing read for the genre enthusiasts. Although it's the fifth in the series, "Waterworks" can be read as a stand alone book. It's full of action, thrill and suspense. Great review!

I would love to know how the couple, Lara and Uri, handled the Iranian terrorist attack.

Thank you for a well written review. It sounds like water works is a wonderful read by simply going through this. And considering that it is a stand alone book from a novel, that's great.

I have not previously heard of this series but after this review I will have to check it out. One deterrent I too have is when a story jump around too much and you get lost.

"Waterworks" by Jack Winnick, a book that features FBI and Intel gathering. It will be fun to read.

This review effectively highlights the gripping, detail-rich storytelling in Waterworks by Jack Winnick. It praises the author's expertise and realistic portrayal of espionage, while noting that the book is intense and fast-paced. Although some aspects may feel implausible, the review enthusiastically recommends it to thriller fans, especially those interested in spy fiction.

I’m looking forward to digging into this novel to find out how Uri and Lara pursued the terrorists that used radioactive material to poison a water tank. I like reading suspense stories and this one is right up my alley.

I'm absolutely fascinated by the premise of "Waterworks" after reading the review! Jack Winnick seems to have crafted a story that seamlessly combines the intensity of espionage with the real-world threat of water supply poisoning. The fast pace and attention to detail, especially in describing the personal lives of Lara and Uri, make this book sound like a must-read for fans of action-packed thrillers. Plus, the suggestion for English translations of foreign phrases is a thoughtful addition for readers. I can't wait to dive into this gripping tale of spies and terrorism!
