"Waterworks" by Jack Winnick is a gripping, fast-paced thriller about Lara and Uri, experts in counterterrorism, infiltrating Iran to investigate a potential polonium-based attack on U.S. water supplies. Realistic technology heightens the chilling stakes in this standalone story. Congrats BOTD!

"Waterworks" is a captivating read that has me eagerly awaiting the next page. Jack Winnick's masterful storytelling deserves high praise, and I can't help but imagine this gripping tale translated to the silver screen. A film or series adaptation would be a thrilling prospect!

Great review. I have read this book before, and I enjoyed it. Jack has a way with mystery. Uri and Lara couldn't be more different but somehow they always blend and work seamlessly to achieve their goals. This book deserves to be today's BOTD.

Quite captivating thriller book "Waterworks" by Jack Winnick, featuring Lara Edmond and Uri Levin. In this book, the premise is set at the water purification unit contaminated with polonium.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.

The plot is unique and still not complicated ot seems. These days books with those kind of plots has more plot twists than the number of charcters in the book. I look forward to writing a crime and mystery book like yours without maybe that many sequels. Congrats on BOTD

Thank you for your review. I read the entire series and they are all exciting and powerful. This book is about the vulnerability of our water plants. Lara and Uri team up again to help find and capture the terrorists. Congrats to the author for the #BOTD.

This is another story about an Iranian terrorist attack on the U S, because we support Israel. And one of the Lara and Uri series. Our water system has been poisoned with polonium, a rare type of toxic radioactive material.I love all the books with Lara and Uri in them because the writing is so fast paced and exciting. Jack Winnick always does a wonderful job of describing his characters and the landscapes.

I enjoyed reading the review; it gave a comprehensive description of the book. I don't think terrorism is the kind of subject I want to read about although I am sure it would teach me something.

"Waterworks" by Jack Winnick speak volumes about how desperately wicked terrorists could be. Getting to the point of polluting the water source of a people is an attempt to wipe the people out completely without struggles. Congratulations on being BOTD. Nice review.

This was an amazing book to read. There was so much suspense with the dead birds, the water poisoning, and so much more. It is a highly recommended suspenseful crime thriller.

This book is filled with action, and I'm curious to discover who's behind the polonium infection in the water. The story is packed with mystery, and I'm eager to unravel it.

Thanks for your review! I read Jack Winnick's Waterworks and completed the Lara and Uri series some time ago, but your comments reminded me what I liked about it. As you mentioned, the author's got a great attention to detail without making the reading experience boring. It's an exciting read, and the premise of a water supply scandal makes it a page-turner.
