This very well-written review clinched it for me -- I would very much like to read this novel (and others in the series) for the facts and educational aspects of it.

This fiction has relatable events. The very thought of the attack mode is unsettling. A chilling plot! The writing is absolutely engaging and the review ensures an entertaining read! Though 5th in the Lara-Uri series, it is a bonus that it can be read as a standalone.

This sounds like an exciting thriller. I like that the main characters are a man and a woman. I enjoyed the sample and look forward to reading the book.

Incredibly captivating thriller book "Waterworks" by Jack Winnick, featuring Lara Edmond and Uri Levin. In this book, the premise is set at the water purification unit contaminated with polonium. The book appears to be fast paced entertainer to read.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.

Great review I've always been a fan of thriller that involves spies and terrorist from infiltrating organization to get information to saving the world and I'm a great fan of Lara and Uri during their dangerous operations. Looking forward to reading Waterworks.

It seems to be a common comment for these Jack Winnick books that Lara is too good at solving these crimes. Feels like that would really ruin the experience for me.

Waterworks by jack winnick It's a pretty intense thriller that deals with a terrifying plot to devastate the United States through its water supply, the story as you may know, follows Laura and Uri, Two highly trained agents who are called into action in the middle of what was supposed to be a relaxing vacation, Now, Bret, an FBI agent, informs them about a crisis in Los Angeles, animals and birds are dying in a rather suspicious way and everything points to a problem with the city's water. After extensive analysis, the radioactive element polonium is identified as the culprit, leading them to race against time to uncover a terrorist plot and stop the mission.
This book is part of the Lara and Uri series, and honestly, being the first book I read by this author, it showed me his ability to create an engaging and action-packed story, I felt In a movie with Tom Cruise reading it, The plot is well structured, without overly complicated scenes or stuffed with meaningless things, Winnick is a great author for action.
The characters, especially, Lara y uri, They are very developed, their intelligence and teamwork drove the story forward, it wouldn't be history without Lara and it wouldn't be history without Uri either, they make you keep reading the story, I rated waterworks with 4 stars, it is a read for thriller and action lovers, I loved it and would definitely read this author again.

I love this review, it is very detailed and properly depicts what the novel is about. Having read the preview up to chapter 5 I agree with this review as the novel captivated me and I have see it to the end. I have only read the parts when Eddie noticed that something was as wrong and then the back story of how the toxic substance got into the water but with this review I know more exiting things to come with the US going to infiltrate the terrorist

Having just read a short extract from this book I was completely enthralled by the depth of the characters; both terrorists and scientists alike. This one caught my attention from the first word creating interest to keep reading. I will be searching out this author (jack winnick) along with more from this series!

In "Waterworks" by Jack Winnick, ex-FBI agent Lara Edmond and Mossad operative Uri Levin investigate a deadly Iranian terrorist attack involving radioactive contamination in Los Angeles. This gripping, realistic thriller highlights counterintelligence efforts against chilling, plausible threats. Congrats BOTD!

"Waterworks" by Jack Winnick was an exhilarating read that kept me on the edge of my seat from start to finish. The plot was intricately woven, combining suspense and action in a way that made it hard to put down. I loved the depth of the characters; they felt authentic and relatable, each with their own struggles and motivations.

Winnick’s writing style is engaging and vivid, allowing me to easily immerse myself in the story. The twists and turns were unexpected, and I found myself constantly guessing what would happen next. The balance of tension and emotional depth really struck a chord with me, making the stakes feel incredibly high.

Overall, "Waterworks" was a thrilling ride that I thoroughly enjoyed. I can’t recommend it enough to anyone looking for a gripping adventure filled with intrigue and strong character development. I’ll definitely be checking out more of Jack Winnick's work!
