Although not a great fan of thrillers these days, "Devil Among Us" by Jack Winnick seems to be a novel I should consider reading due to its action-packed nature and the fact that it is a thriller full of suspense. I have added it to my list.

This review covers all the significant aspects of the book. I am excited to witness my favorite duo in action. Lara Uri have always delivered when it comes to crime and terrorists' investigations. I look forward to immerse myself in Winnick's vast knowledge of the geopolitical relationship between USA and Middle Eastern countries. Thank you for this comprehensive review.

The author's expertise in geopolitical matters and historical context, especially in the Middle East, adds depth to the narrative. The dynamic relationship between Lara and Uri is interesting, making their rekindled connection a bright contrast in the midst of the intense thriller atmosphere. Nice review.

I enjoyed the book, excellent plot development. And talk about the detailed nature of the book, and how the author tried his possible best to make sure we could picture what was happening, giving off as much details as possible; like the "part of the building maintaining it's structural integrity, which made the blast worse as the shock wave was reverberating; there by killing more people."

Hi @Phillip Olutosin, I just read your comments on the official review of "Devil Among Us" and this is an incredible read. I highly recommend all five of Jack Winnick's terrorist novels. They all kept me on the edge of my seat until the last page. Jack is an amazing writer. @Mrlefty0706

Hi @Abiodunakinola, I just read your comments on the official review of "Devil Among Us" and I agree Winnick has an astounding memory of the Middle East. The group behind the bomb blasts are Islamic terrorists but Jack does not blame all of the Middle Eastern countries, just the terrorists and their leader. @Mrlefty0706

"Devil Among Us" by Jack Winnick is a riveting thriller that explores themes of terrorism, loyalty, and deception. The author's expertise in Middle East affairs shines through in this page-turner, which follows FBI agent Lara Edmond and Mossad agent Uri Levin as they race to prevent a catastrophic attack. Winnick's writing is engaging, and his characters are well-developed and relatable. While some scenes feel a bit slow and the military time can be confusing, the plot twists and turns keep you on the edge of your seat. Overall, a great read for fans of international spy thrillers!

Devil Among Us by Jack Winnick tells the story of a terror attack in a synagogue that left several people killed and injured. The plot was orchestrated by Islamic terrorists after a detailed investigation by FBI Special Agent Lara Edmomd, a member of the Joint Terrorist Task Force, and Uri Levin, a Mossad agent. Initial investigations suggested it was an inside job but this not the case. This book is simply interested and reveals the extent terrorists are filling to go to attack religious places of worship.

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting thriller and excellent addition to Mr. Winnick's series, which follows two government agents, Lara and Uri, as they track down and prevent future terrorist activities. In this book, these two agents are tasked with discovering who attacked a New York Synagogue and what the group is planning to do next. It is worth a second look. Well done.

Great! Your review sounds as interesting as the book. I see it's a 2nd out of 5series book, though it's assured to be a stand alone book, being a fan of thriller series, I might have to read the first part. But definitely looks like fast paced thriller!

Very much an action-packed book, from the bombing and the number of casualties that follows, to the bid to uncover the plot and the mastermind.
The collaboration to achieve this goal even makes the book more eventful.

I love this review written by Jack Winnick on “Devil Among Us” as the writer has explained about the story in a way that best describes the book. These include the words you used while describing the plot saying that it covers a lot of ground testifying to its intensity, and the way you described the characters in the climax as dynamic. With these interests, you successfully describe how there are smooth transitions in the switching of narrative focus and how characters of different importance are developed well. Furthermore, you stating that you are familiar with Winnick’s background and his knowledge of Middle Eastern politics also strengthens the review by supporting the text’s validity and seriousness. This creates potential readers an opportunity to sense the human angle within the thriller which satisfies the fourth attribute, the point of relationship and chemistry between the protagonists. In general your review is quite comprehensive while still calling out what you have personally most enjoyed about the book it’s clear why you had such a positive experience reading this one.
