I also had an issue with the ease of accessing confidential information, and this was perhaps the only downside, among others similar to it, that I observed in the book while reading. Overall, it is an entertaining and informative book.
Many thanks for the review, @Prisallen.

This book is a standalone so it has to be an easy read. I like spy thrillers and your review has given me more insights on what to expect. Thanks

This book presents an opportunity for readers to enjoy what seems like a mixture of an intelligent search for the Truth the solves crimes and a discovery of a feeling that looks like it is love.

The series unabashedly displays animosity towards Muslims and Islamic fundamentalism, rather than addressing the chaos instigated by extremists and sectarianism. It portrays individuals who present themselves as devout scholars and messengers of God, yet in reality, they perpetrate chaos, racism, and religious intolerance.

Furthermore, the novel includes a quote attributed to Mohammad SAW and Ibn Hatim that is historically inaccurate, showcasing the author's lack of knowledge. Additionally, the portrayal of Palestine and the Middle East, depicting them as cruel towards Jews, disregards historical facts. Palestine, in fact, welcomed Holocaust survivors when the rest of the world turned them away. This bias reflects the author's true intentions: to vilify Muslims and Islam by presenting a one-sided narrative while overlooking Western atrocities.
Israel is the cruel terrorist state who invaded Palestine and Lebanon. We can see how Israel is doing genocide on innocent civilians of Gaza.

Waterworks is a thriller and action novel about detectives Lara and Uri and how they end up capturing terrorists. This is an enjoyable one. Congratulations on BOTD.

Wow, this sounds intense! Dead goldfish and birds? That's a seriously creepy way to start a book. Polonium and an Iranian sock – that's wild! I'm definitely intrigued by Lara and Uri, especially since they're ex-FBI and Mossad. And a standalone book in a series is perfect. Fast-paced and detailed without being boring? Sounds exactly like the kind of thriller I love. I'm adding this to my "to-read" list right now!

You made a detailed review here and I have already gotten an overview of this series.Though investigative stories are not my favourites, this one seems interesting. My admiration goes to Lara.I hope this character uncovers what is being looked into. Congratulations for being the BOTD.

The author wrote on this fifth novel about Lara and Uri, they are briefed, given new identities, by the FBI agents and sent them into danger to a different parts of Iran to gather intelligence because Lara and Uri know how to deal with terrorists because the FBI agency are worried that this is only the beginning of Iran's plans against to USA.

Nice review; I am glad to hear it can be read as a stand-alone novel because when I saw it was number 5, I was a little leery about downloading it. The reading g of the sample hooked me onto wanting to read more.

“Waterworks” by Jack Winnick is a fictional story about a terrorist attack on the Los Angeles water supply. Teams of terrorists that were members of an Iranian anti-American group added Polonium to the water supply by dropping it in the water from bridges in socks that they used to bring the poison into the U.S. Lara and Uri were already in Los Angeles on vacation so they were deployed to track down the terrorists and then they were given new identities so that they could be sent to different parts of Iran to gather intelligence and find the terrorist leader in Iran. This is an action thriller that I did not want to put down until the last page. This book is Jack Winnick’s 5th book in this series and all of his books are thoroughly researched, well-written and have kept me on the edge of my seat until the last page. This book reinforces the importance of counterintelligence. I highly recommend this book.

I love your review, simple and to the point.

I love how the author speaks from the perspective of the terrorists, how excited their reaction was when they realized just how vast this poisoning could be, while my reaction in contrast was disappointment knowing how many lives could be lost.

It is a worry that this science actually exists and how lucky we are to be here every day.

Hi @ Harshitha G B, I just read your comments on the official review of "Waterworks" and I was disappointed you did not demonstrate that you read the sample and official review which are required for a forum posting. For example, “Waterworks” by Jack Winnick is a fictional story about a terrorist attack on the Los Angeles water supply. This book is Jack Winnick’s 5th book in this series and all of his books are thoroughly researched, well-written and have kept me on the edge of my seat until the last page. This book reinforces the importance of counterintelligence. I highly recommend this book. @Mrlefty0706
