This sounds like an action packed, suspense filled story.
I wish to know if Declan helped his cousin out of the illegal mess. Congrats on Botd.

This fictional novel is full of emotions.
The soldier fighting an inner enemy is a constant challenge for everyone. Trying to save his people with illegal business is another thing. I'll love to read this book. Thanks for the review.

I like the opening of this review and it's overall style. Indeed this book may well be fiction, but it is real at the same time.

The book is interested, l like it.
The author told us a story of the juicy fruit man, who was courageous and determined to fight and win his life, by bringing the war home. Where he didn't surrender, but still fighting until he has won this battle. The life is like a battle, we have to be determined and courageous , because of carrying the victory.
Thanks

Wonderful review. Even though the theme of war is not my favourite, I'm tempted to read this one.

Informative and good review! Thank you. The narrative is reflective of the realities of life after war or perhaps any other event with similar intensity and horror. It seems to be full of surprises.

I’m intrigued by the combination of the world’s external demons as represented by the drug smuggling and the main character’s inner demons, i.e. PTSD, and how the two can manifest in one veteran in a desperate situation. The combination also promises that this book will be both a psychological and action-packed thriller that highlights a very serious but often neglected condition plaguing war veterans. Thank you for the helpful review.

A captivating thriller following the story of a Vietnam veteran. It is also full of action, suspense, and realism! I am glad you enjoyed it despite the minor editorial issues. I got my copy, but I am not sure it's for me. Thank you for your detailed review!

The story does seem to have a lot of realism in spite of it being a fictional creation. I like that it's a mix of suspense, thrill, and drama while also portraying a very realistic picture of battlefield trauma. Thank you for the engaging review.

The way you describe this book it might as well have been real instead of a fictional story. It is always a struggle to battle with your inner demons and this seems like a book worth reading. It seems like a very intriguing book to read.
