Wow, this sounds very relevant to today's polarizing debates on gun control. I can't wait to read it - I love a story that really focuses on its characters, so I was delighted to see in your review that they are multidimensional. I tend to like books that have a lot of characters in them because it gives you a whole range of people to connect with, and often, the supporting characters are better than the main ones! Great review - I'm hooked!

I am currently reading this book, and it caught my attention the same reason as yours. Guns are a part of my life, and are a very hot controversy. Thank you for pointing out that there is more to the book than the guns alone, your detailed review excites me more to finish the book! I am glad you enjoyed the book and felt it deserved a good rating.

As I am so new I hope to goodness I am not doing anything wrong here, but having read the reviews and this being what I call the book of the day, I'd love to get this as I think it is an interesting concept

This book sounds so interesting and unique. I do not think that a watch the can predict the end of a person's life if it is due to health or old age is that far off. I think from reading the sample that the characters are also interesting, and I like that they are all connected. Great work on a thorough review. :)

I like a good action thriller book. Group of doctors creates a watch to monitor health and vital signs and they even can predict the final days of human's life. What would you do when you find out you have only a week to live? The Concept is new. Love to read the book. Thanks for the review.

Great review, I felt like I really gained insight in the plot!!!
I believe, that topic is really, really thought-provoking and serious, and I really are interested to the way the author discovers it through the characters and their actions.

This book reminds me of the movie The Purge. Giving people the opportunity in fiction to do bad things is an interesting dilemma because you wonder what people in real life would do. I know many would choose to use it for the wrong reasons, but I hope that most wouldn't.

Very topical issues raised with this story about gun ownership. I've downloaded this one and intrigued about the topics the review raises. Plus I love the idea of having a device that will tell you when you die. Lots of characters involved which sounds like it could get confusing. But with the great review about how the author made it easy to connect and understand, i can't wait to read this thriller

Suspenseful, lively and fast-paced, this book is a treasure and very topical given the national debate we're currently having in firearms. I never give any book a 4 out of 4 rating, but this one sure comes close.

What an interesting idea for a book. I’m not sure if I would want to know my final date ahead of time, but it would allow you to die peacefully with no regrets as you could have that time to tie up loose ends and make amends. I guess it should come as no surprise that some people would take that opportunity to create havoc. Great premise, I will definitely read this.

I'm really excited to read this book. I think the topic of gun control is perfect for the problems the United States is currently facing. Add in a machine that can measure when you'll die; I'm in!

What a wonderful book, a book that leaves us with so much to think about especially the situation of having to know when one's life will. It's quite a good discovery, thanks for the review.

Considering how hot this topic is in our current political climate, this book is a must read. I barely made it through the sample before knowing I had to add it to my list. I think everyone from all sides of the argument could stand to check this book out. Thanks for the review!

After reading a sample of this book, I thought I understood its direction. But your review showed me that I was totally wrong. The book seems more dimensional than I initially thought and very interesting. I look forward to reading. Great review!
