The novel openly exhibits hostility towards Muslims and Islamic fundamentalism, rather than focusing on the turmoil caused by extremists and sectarianism. It depicts individuals who claim to be devout scholars and messengers of God, but who in reality spread chaos, racism, and religious intolerance.

Additionally, the representation of Palestine and the Middle East as being cruel towards Jews ignores historical facts. Palestine actually welcomed Holocaust survivors when much of the world turned them away. This bias reveals the author's true intent: to malign Muslims and Islam through a one-sided narrative while ignoring Western atrocities.

Israel is depicted as a cruel terrorist state that invaded Palestine and Lebanon. The ongoing genocide of innocent civilians in Gaza by Israel is evident.

Your review highlighted the important factors of the book. The author putting efforts to weave the story about actual issue requires proper and depth knowledge, as per your review i feel the author bought justice to work. When FBI as as main theme, majorly story won't be disappointing due to it's adventurous element tackling real issues.

What a great review! I don't read novels like these because they are too "real" - I just get overwhelmed. However, your review makes me want to pick it up. Congrats on BOTD!

Not the kind of book I'd read for fun, but I've heard about the Lara and Uri series and how good of an author Jack Winnick is. Nice review.

“Devil Among Us” by Jack Winnick is an amazing thriller with plenty of Lara and Uri action. Book 2 out of 5 and it is a well written fictional book about Islamic terrorist attacks against Jews in America. This story takes place in New York where bombs are detonated in a Synagogue during services and hundreds of innocent Jews are killed and injured. The suspects were in the Synagogue but the group responsible are Islamic terrorists. Is Iran behind this with a plan to attack Israel? This book kept me on the edge of my seat from start to finish and I did not want to put it down. I highly recommend members read this geopolitical thriller and Jack’s other four books.

This is a fascinating crime thriller book that showcases a lot of historical settings one could learn from. I love the role of Lara and Uri in unravelling the perpetrators of the New York synagogue bomb blast. Great job by the author.
