I enjoyed your well- written review, but was a little confused as it first seemed to describe the beginning from a previous book in the series, not from The Date Farm. But at any rate I agree with your take on the book -- definitely an intriguing, fast-paced and suspenseful tale. And all too believable in the current state of the world!

I am also curious as to what the terrorists group are pursuing and really want. I hope that Lara and Uri are equal to the task. I am looking forward to reading this book. Congratulations to the author on winning book of the day.

I must say this book is a suspense-filled thriller. The book was written by Jack Winnick to reflect the happenings caused by Terrorists in the real world. What a skill and wealth of information showcased by the author. I commend the effort of Lara Edmond and Uri Levin in their investigation journey to uncover the perpetrators of the callous event in the story. Congrats on the book of the day.

The story begins with a vicious attack on a Los Angeles mall, our brave couple, newly married, are quickly summoned to join in the fighting this newest threat. As with the author's previous books in this series, the story is both frightening and suspenseful. I loved the interaction between Lara and Uri, who are perfectly matched. The introduction of Lara's family was described perfectly. Things go from very bad to even worse as there more attacks, Lara and her team work tirelessly trying to find who is behind these terrible acts. I absolutely want to finish the book after reading your review! :tiphat:

In this international suspense thriller of fighting terrorism, Jack Winnick creatively weaves the plot that's intriguing in this fourth in the series of Lara and Uri series. Terrorism keeps showing up in the world the lives of those called to fight it is commendable . You have written the review so well on how the agents Uri and Lara, the newly married couple, maintain a balance of loyalty to each other, the governments as they serve. Congratulations on the BOTD again!

The Date Farm's dedication to stopping terror resonates with real-world events. Lara and Uri's devotion, despite being newlyweds and agents, is refreshing. This action-packed standalone from the Lara and Uri series is a compelling page-turner that I can't wait to read.

Intriguing and action-packed, this book seems like an intense roller-coaster ride from start to finish. The blend of suspense, well-developed characters, and the timely exploration of real-world issues makes it a must-read for thriller enthusiasts. The fact that it's a stand-alone in a series is a bonus, offering a chance to dive right into the heart-pounding plot. I'm definitely adding this to my reading list!

The Date Farm, brimming with action and suspense, was evidently meticulously researched. Every chilling detail, from the names of people and places affected, right down to the ammunition used gives the reader a sense of being truly submerged in this frightening world of International Terrorism.

For me- the best novel this year, by far.

I appreciate your review. I also appreciate that this book reflects terror attacks that have rocked most parts of the world, especially targeting public places and unsuspecting, innocent victims. I loved how the author built the pace in this book; just when you think the dust is about to settle in one case, another case sweeps up very fast, keeping the reader on edge. Every page was just filed with suspense and thrill, keeping Uri, Lara and the other FBI agents on toes. I definitely loved this book.

I find immense pleasure in the Lara and Uri series due to the author's skill in crafting self-contained narratives that are accessible to newcomers. This particular book holds a special place as it culminates the prolonged tension between the protagonists, now united in marriage. It stands as my favorite read, and the entire series offers a captivating experience. Even if political thrillers aren't your usual choice, I recommend giving the first book a chance, as I, someone not typically drawn to the genre, have thoroughly enjoyed this series. Among Jack Winnick's works, "The Date Farm" has always stood out to me, and I'm touched by the author's dedication to real-life counterparts of Lara and Uri, hoping the fictional pair can finally unwind. The fourth installment of the Lara and Uri series matches the excitement of the author's other works, and the chilling mall terrorist attack intensifies the plot. Lara and Uri's partnership, now as a married couple, adds an intriguing dimension. The sample pages showcase the author's commendable writing style, and I admire the challenges of undercover work. With Lara and Uri back in action, determined to thwart the terrorists, this book promises a gripping adventure.
