The narrative of Devil in False Colors centers on the challenges faced by the Jewish people and the forces out to destroy them and Israel. Iranians never stop trying to accuse Jews of horrific crimes of terrorism. The story is not very easy or enjoyable to read, despite being informative and somewhat instructional. Congrats on BOTD.

The storyline of this book sounds fascinating as the author does not only write about terrorists attacks but also the motivation behind the attacks. It sounds thrilling and exciting and the fact that some events are not fiction.

I love that the author is able to combine real events together with fiction in the book. It sounds like a thrilling adventure the author takes us on as we get to learn the motivation upon the terrorists attacks.

I'm impressed that the author wrote such a graphic story about terrorism. It starts off with a mysterious slaughtering and delves deeper into the reason behind it. The author leaves you on the edge of your seat wondering what happened and will the terrorists get caught.

Uri and Lara come together to uncover the forces behind the massacre in a Jewish preschool in a suburb in California. The fiercely independent FBI agents work to put a end to this hate crime and the growing anti-semitism sentiments. Iran's nuclear threat and Russia shady role adds action to this international terrorism.

The action starts right off the bat, keeping readers curious and wanting for more- Upon reading the sample i find myself tortured by the desire to know what becomes of Lara, how will she tackle this huge and dangerous challenge ahead of her, how does her lover fit into all of this and how will the intricate geo political situation escalate.

It is also harrowing to read this as current events unfold in the real world- palestinians and israelis alike suffering great losses for ancient disputes that seem to have no resolve in sight.

"Devil in False Colour" is a captivating exploration of deception and self-discovery, weaving a complex narrative that challenges conventional perspectives. The author skillfully delves into the psychology of the characters, unraveling layers of deceit and revealing profound truths. The use of false colors as a metaphor adds depth to the storyline, symbolizing the masks people wear. Overall, the book offers a thought-provoking journey that lingers in the reader's mind, inviting contemplation on the nature of truth and human nature.

"The only way to defeat evil is to understand it."

The novel's title, "Devil in False Colors," alludes to the deceptive nature of terrorism and the difficulty in identifying true threats. This theme is prevalent throughout the story, as the characters struggle to uncover the truth behind the vicious massacre at the Jewish preschool. Thanks for sharing this nice review. #BOTD!

I agree with your opinion that the geopolitical outlook is the novel’s best feature. I also liked how the author incorporated historical events and current issues into the plot, making it more realistic and relevant. I think the novel does a good job of portraying the complexity and diversity of the Middle East, as well as the challenges and dangers faced by the agents.

I also enjoyed the character development of Lara and Uri. I found their relationship to be interesting and believable, as they had to balance their professional and personal lives. I admired Lara’s skills and independence, and Uri’s courage and loyalty. They made a great team and a great couple.

I respect your rating of 4 out of 4 stars, but I would give the novel a slightly lower score, maybe 3 out of 4 stars. I felt that some parts of the novel were too predictable or clichéd, such as the identity of the mastermind behind the attacks, or the final confrontation between the agents and the villains. I also thought that some of the political views expressed by the author were too biased or controversial and could alienate some readers.

Overall, I enjoyed reading your review and I’m glad you liked the novel. I would also recommend it to anyone who likes thrillers with a touch of international affairs. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and insights.

I have mixed feelings about this book. On the one hand, the writing itself is quite good, and the author manages to transport us to another place with his words. But, on the other hand, it takes refuge in a police context in which a law enforcement officer must find terrorists who have perpetrated a terrible crime to defend Islamophobia.

I liked the review. It gets to the point, but it should also say that this could be considered a murder-mystery novel as well - outside of the political Islamic / Jewish aspects. Being Jewish myself, I found the pages that I read to be very bold and captivating. I didn't get to learn much about the main characters as it was only an excerpt, although it seems to be similar to a Daniel Silva series with the Gabriel Allon main character. I did like this book as well and I have added it to my reading list for the future.

Just recently read the book. This is an excellent review! I although, found it pretty hard to continue reading it at the beginning because of the graphic descriptions of violence but my curiosity got the best of me so I kept on anyway!
