"Devil in False Colors" by Jack Winnick is a gripping thriller that kicks off with a shocking massacre at a Jewish preschool in an upscale Californian suburb, setting the stage for a high-stakes investigation. Winnick's exploration of complex geopolitical issues, including the creation of Israel, anti-Israel sentiment, and prejudices against Jews, adds layers of authenticity to the narrative.

As the review mentioned that the real fiction is that which is based on a fact. Jack Winnick has done a spectacular job of weaving these complexities into the narrative.

This book sounds really good, though I wonder how it will stack up in the present day political climate.

Great review. You accurately summarised the story and highlighted things that readers may find displeasing. It is hard to write a book on this topic without ruffling some feathers, especially on issues like Islamic terrorism.

It's a great book from my little reading of it but not really my kind of book. Thanks

The intersection of international terrorism, Iran's nuclear threat, and Russia's shadowy role provided a gripping backdrop to the narrative. Lara Edmond's character stood out as a testament to resilience and capability, adding depth to the story.

The good thing about the book is that each aspect is nuanced, and it will be good to learn how the duo worked in the past and how they will work as a team in battling the current terrorist threats. I definitely look forward to reading this fascinating novel. Many thanks for the informative review.

Thanks! for the review..
I understand your perspective. The book appears to present a biased view, overlooking certain aspects and portraying a skewed version of reality. It's a sensitive topic, and I'm not into politics, but it seems like the book has different intentions. The opposite situation is happening in the world today.

This review has certainly piqued my interest, as we are currently living in a time where tensions between Jews and Israelis are high thanks to the Palestinian conflict. I just downloaded this book and am eager to read it.

I am looking forward to reading this novel just from the review alone. The strong political views don't bother me at all. In fact, they make the book more appealing.

Jack Winnick is a phenomenal author. He manages to draw you into the story from the very first page of each of his novels. It's frighting to know at which lengths terrorists will go to accomplish havoc into a country and the fact that the events used in this novel has historical significance. I also like the fact that between all this disaster he adds some romance too. Thanks for a great review.

The intricate geopolitical setting in 'Devil in False Colors' truly captivates me. The author's adept fusion of historical facts and fictional elements creates a compelling narrative that keeps the reader glued to the pages. The protagonist, Lara, stands out as a well-crafted character whose depth and complexity add a layer of authenticity to the story. Overall, I consider this novel a must-read for anyone seeking a thrilling and thought-provoking experience.

Thanks for the review, and thanks for the warning about the politically charged points of view and also the warning about the romantic subplot.

I wish more authors felt comfortable leaving romance out of their books -- especially when they're dealing with such heavy topics as terrorists who kill preschoolers -- but I guess it's understandable, since authors are told over and over that "sex sells".
