The novel is at once a political thriller and an espionage story with a touch of romance. Even though it occasionally pushes the boundaries of believability, it does provide great entertainment. If I had to name a negative aspect, it would be that I found the romance passages a bit cheesy and of a rather womanizing tone. Quite frankly, I think the book would be better without the numerous comments about women’s legs.

That's often the case, unfortunately. Especially in books written by men. I usually love a thriller with a touch of romance, but I'm not sure about the political aspect. I did love your review! Thank you!

Overall, this book sounds like a thrilling read. Political thrillers are often based on reality and span several settings. This book seems to have done justice to the genre. But I am not a fan of political thrillers and cheesy romances so maybe I will pass this on.
