The writer is clearly strong on mystery, which is great. I hope she might go the extra mile by including better character development in a future book. It's so satisfying to read a mystery that has both.

I hope so too. She has a lot of potential but sadly, she just missed the mark on this one.

I have been a fan of crime novels ever since I read my first Perry Mason. And then there was Nancy Drew. I bet I will have fun investigating these murders with M&M.

Keeping a mystery book lover on his/her toes is a difficult task. As a fellow lover of mysteries, I know almost every trick in the book. :lol2: So, kudos to the author keeping you guessing. Despite the issues you mention, I might just try this out. Thanks for the awesome review!

I think I like the red herring interspersed in the book's chapters the best as nothing beats a good mystery. Thanks for the enjoyable review.

    I'm still not sure why you rated this book so high because it seems like this book is lacking a lot. A book that has underdeveloped characters is hard to get into. Thanks for your review.

    Honestly? Unless it's a really egregious problem, I round up when I arrive at fractional ratings. That being said, I really did like the mystery aspect of it, so that helped, but I do understand where you're coming from. Thanks for reading!

    The confusing character development and weird, inexplicable relationships might be a bit too much for me to overlook despite everything else that saved the storyline. Splendid review.
