Maybe all the extra details were how the author was painting a murder. She might have spent more time on the proofing and less on the scenery, and I'm surprised that it rated a 3. It must have picked up dramatically.

It’s a good sign that you would read another book in this series in spite of the errors you found in this book. I’m glad to see the book has gone through another round of editing after your review.

Thanks for your candid and thorough take on this one!

Sounds like an intriguing story. A nosy Veronica gets into trouble. What happens next?

I don't enjoy books that are overly descriptive, however, your review does make it sound as though there may be a good story line, so I am considering it as a future read. Thank you.

I love whodunit as a concept. There are very few out there that actually fit the description. Usually I am able to figure out the real culprit before tge climax but still they are fun to read. Thank you for the review. I truly enjoyed it and I am not saying it just for the sake of it. You really are good.🙂

Wordiness and mysteries never go together, in my opinion. Hence, I probably won't be reading this one. I liked the title though.

This novel is a fast-paced mystery. Overall, I found it to be a light and enjoyable read. Characters appeared and rapidly stepped into predictable roles in the first few chapters, which were a little too formulaic. Events and relationships that should have required time and consideration appeared to emerge out of nowhere. Then there's the issue of one supposedly intelligent heroine doing something extremely stupid and criminal. Odd incidents and behavior begin to balloon after you get into the book, which is a simple task...more

The book is intresting but for the mistakes and errors make it look unproffesional.

The book is concentrated about Veronica. She is a lucky woman because shez realize her dream. The text is not very attractive , and in the history we see many sentences without coordination. I thing the text can be better with more details , nice examples , some nice feeling.

I click on this review because the title of the book caught my eye. Sad to see that there are so many errors within the novel. I agree too many errors can make the book look unprofessional, and make for a difficult reading experience. :(

The book seems to be a detective story with a slow pace building up the suspense in the later part the book.
Thanks for the precise and honest review.

I just got out of a book with the same editing errors and that's exactly how I felt it too - like I was reading a writer's draft. I'm not sure I could manage another work with similar omissions anytime soon. But I will add it to my list, and when I feel ready, I'm sure I will enjoy it. Fabulous review! 👏 Thank you!
