The book sounds like an interesting thriller. I like it that it is packed with action, suspense, and realism. However, I'm not a fan of this genre. I'll pass on this one.

I like the suspense that the book holds, but I'm going to have to read more to make up my mind.

Most of the times war veterans find it difficult to get adjusted to normal civilized life. Connecting that fact with a drug related issue might have made this a marvellous fiction. Congratulations on be BOTD and thanks for the free giveaway

Great review. Thanks you for mentioning or warning that for readers who have PTSD to stay away from this book. This seems like a roller coaster ride for Declan. I'm looking forward to reading this. Thanks for your review.

The hidden demon PTSD that a lot of people suffer. The story about the war veteran suffering through it and it becoming an important ingredient that carved the future of his life sounds realistic. I would definitely pick this up for a read. Thanks for the review.

This book sounds fantastic. The premise of the book was described beautifully, I really want to read it. I've always liked stories about drug smugglers but I've never read one about one in the army. Great review!!

Good review. This book clearly shows some of the ways in which war can impact us as humans. I think the author can still improve on the cover though.

A good review capture InStoree. Thanks for the summary.
Looks an interesting story of a common-man, who tussle against the bane of bringing the war back at home. His Inner fight with demons is a curtain opener to new episode of a Declan Noakes Thriller. More than the real war story, I guess.
Hope to read in more than what saw in sample.

No question about it. This book immediately goes to the front of the line on my to-be-read list. The terrific review, and the little I read of the opening chapters with its hints of Steinbeck, have lured me in. Can't wait to finish reading the three books I've already started to get to this one. Congrats to Mr. Going for being awarded BOTD!

I don't usually want to read war books but this is fictional, and it's a thriller. It has a great review and sounds like it could actually be a non-fiction book. My Dad was in the Vietnam War and suffered from depression and agoraphobia. It wasn't until he suffered a stroke that he was put on depression medication. I'm looking forward to reading this story of how someone tries to live a "normal" life after coming home from war.
