The best crime thrillers are fast-paced and full of mystery and suspense. I hope Nick succeeds in stopping the human trafficking ring. Thank you for your informative review.

This novel tells the tale of Nick Parker, a skilled assassin for the US government who, after ten years on the dirty job, quit to become a law enforcement officer. Congrats on BOTD.

Complete with edge-of-your-seat suspense and action-packed scenes, today's BOTD is a crime thriller that follows Nick Parker as he tries to take down a human trafficking ring. Readers will not only feel connected to the characters from page one, but they'll also quickly be turning pages to find out what happens next! Great review...thank you! :-)

I do wonder how people who have gone through and seen so much killings in life settle down afterward and put it all behind them. Thid aspect of the book drew my attention. Congratulations on BOTD.

Crime thriller is my thing and it comes thick and fast in Death's Companion. Nick Parker is such a character you fall in love with in this breezing tale.

Your review is very enlightening, Brenda! I sampled the opening episode about the kidnapping of the two teenage girls. Your review has put this episode into perspective. Now I feel intrigued to meet and greet the never-barking German Shepherd Coop and his human servant Nick!

Even though I haven't read "Death’s Companion" yet, the storyline sounds incredibly engaging. The blend of crime thriller elements with deep, complex characters like Nick Parker and his mysterious dog Coop, along with the focus on serious social issues like human trafficking, makes it seem like a must-read. The suspense, unpredictability, and moral complexities highlighted in the review have definitely piqued my interest. This seems like a book that would keep me on the edge of my seat from start to finish.

"Death Companion" seems like a great and gripping crime thriller novel to read. It has an intense storyline, non-stop action, a bit of humour, and well-developed characters. I can't miss reading this one, and it's good I have obtained a free copy of the book. Thanks for your great review.

The plot seems to be awesome. I wonder if the law officials are really involved this syndicate. Parker seems like a person who is very thorough in his work and would try to get to the bottom of this. Good review.

Great review! While the plot is definitely enticing and action packed enough as is, what truly caught my attention was this:
Another important character in the story is Nick's one-hundred-pound German shepherd companion named Coop, who had wandered up to his cabin one day and decided to stay. The strange thing about Coop is he never barks—but he never needs to. You will discover why as you read the book.

Of course I’m intrigued at the mention of an animal companion (who wouldn’t be? lol) but I am curious about the no-barking thing. If anything, that creates some level of suspense for this book.

Thanks for this vivid review of the book. It sounds like a very exciting crime thriller that will keep you wanting to read more. I am especially curious to learn more about the dog.

Great review! The book sounds action-packed and thrilling. However, the narrative seems a bit too violent for me. Human trafficking is a problem that needs to be stopped. It is an important topic, but I don't enjoy reading about it.

Nick Parker seems to be an impressionable personality. I don't want to believe his deeds won't come back to haunt him. Was the cabin burning down an accident? I guess I'll find out when I read.
