I found Cammy’s character really compelling, especially her determination to clear Grant’s name. Her interactions with the Sunset Lane ladies were both amusing and tension-filled, adding a great dynamic to the story.

Congrats on BOTD! The narrative of Paula Clemons, a missing lady whose husband is presently having an affair, is told in Linda J. Burson's book "Murder Among Friends." It seems suspicious what caused her to vanish. Reading this is exciting.

Your review is as fantastic as ever, Erin! I enjoyed sampling the opening episode where Cammy landed in a pub to celebrate her resignation from her job with the advertising company and the break up with her boyfriend. Like you, I felt riveted instantly! From your review, I feel that this novel is a treat for a crime fiction fan like me!

Today's BOTD is a thriller filled with mystery, romance, and suspense. Readers who enjoy well-developed characters, especially female ones like Cammy, will love getting to know them and feel like they are watching everything unfold before their very eyes. This should be a movie! Thank you so much! :-)

I will go for this book on suspense and romance, especially as the relationship between Cammy and Grant add so much excitement and fun to the plot. These stories where friendships, loyalties and intrigue are combined usually produce excellent reads like this one.

The plot sounds somewhat unusual, with the PI in love with one of the suspects and trying to prove his innocence, instead of looking for the culprit. Cammie has her job cut out for her, with interfering neighbours, a missing mother and a new love affair. Thank you for your informative review.

Hey, thanks for such a detailed review of "Murder Among Friends"! It sounds like Linda J. Burson has crafted an engaging mix of crime thriller and romance. I appreciate your insights on the chemistry between Grant and Cammy, as well as the intriguing dynamics with the Sunset Lane ladies. The way you described the witty banter and sassy dialogues has definitely piqued my interest. I'm curious to see how the mystery unfolds and how Cammy navigates her PI skills amidst all the tension.
