I checked out the first chapter. This book opens with a splash, pun intended. Good stuff! Congrats to the author on his achievement and for receiving BOTD honors.

I already read this one and have good things to say about it. One day I wanted to read something mysterious and intriguing and when saw word "voodoo" my search ended. Really good storyline and while crime isn't overly original suspense hold true and makes events very interesting. Most sincere congratulations on BOTD!

Cake is dealing with a lot, the rape of Maggie, going to a psychotherapist, and the death of Cho Lin. I hope he can make it through.

This book contains many controversial topics. I don't like things so dark on my soul. My mental stability is already at question. So this wouldn't be a book for me. Great job really putting details into the review.

A crime thriller novel sounds like a good choice. But one filled with dark web, voodoo and murder will not catch my fancy. Thanks for this review and congratulations to the author.

:P jThis seems like an intriguing suspense thriller. I am not a reader who picks up books in a series out of order. So, I probably won't start with this one. Great job with the review.

I encountered witch doctors, voodoo, the dark web, child abduction, human trafficking, murder, illegal drugs, mystery, crime, suspense, and romance in this exciting book. Janson Mancheski did a fantastic job putting all of these different aspects in a storyline that pulled me in during the first few pages. The character development was outstanding, and I could visualize each of them. The drawings of the formula for the new drug made the story feel more realistic. I found humor in the two main rules in running a dairy farm. Firstly, you must “keep the place making money,” and it is essential to “keep your eyes peeled to the ground when walking around a dairy farm.”
That's funny :lol2: . It seems like this book has something for everyone (I'm especially interested in the voodoo storyline!) but most of them are dark topics, so a little humor always helps to make the reading experience lighter. Thank you for your enthusiastic review!

Thank you for your review. Murder, mystery, suspense, and so much more - what else could a reader want in a novel. Well-developed characters and an intense storyline make this a must-read for me. Congratulations on BOTD!

This book has a multidimensional plot with a varied cast of characters that adds depth to the book as a whole. It is a continuation of a series of books and it's a must read for lovers of crime, mystery and thriller novels. Congrats on the BOTD!

A crime thriller with so many themes sounds very engaging. I'm definitely interested in reading this book. Thanks for the great review!

I like crime thrillers, and based on how this book opens, I'm sure it's a great read. I enjoyed your review too. I might dedicate some time to this book as I'm convinced it's worth my time.

The Amazon blurb mentions that Cale's enemies will "drop him into 70 feet of open water during a turbulent thunderstorm." Prior to this, his fiancee was abducted and raped. Cale seems to be in big trouble. Will his INTP personality help him beat the odds?
