This sounds fabulous! the reviewer's dislike for, "I didn't know what was happening until the middle of the book" is EXACTLY the sort of stuff I like. Some people pride themselves for knowing whodunnit before the end of the book, me, I like to speculate about What The Heck is Going On, hidden under bizarre occurrences and archaic languages. can't wait to read it.

Paranormal fiction is not for me; it makes me feel paranoid. However, I like that there are obviously strong themes such as friendship and loyalty in this book. The book sounds really compelling: different realms, disappearing children, the solution to the problem that lay in the mysterious past Bob had tried to run away from but which had caught up with him. I believe it will be interesting to read the book. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

Already read this one and while the book wasn't exactly what I expected, but still pretty good. The storyline is intricate and more complex than your usual bogeyman scary tale, it has some unexpected quality and while it did start somewhat slow, it certainly was enjoyable and worth reading!
