Judge me all you like, but I do like "Typical Hollywood Murder" and believe them to be a subgenre of their own. They create the incomparable atmosphere and hate to break it, but this storyline fits right into it. Reading description left me with the impression like I just saw one of the Woody Allen's movie about monster hidden under the façade of decency. Very promising and intriguing to find out more of the story it!

Reid Garrett sounds like an intriguing antagonist. I can't wait to learn what really happens behind the scenes in Hollywood and see if Alton Price succeeds as the fixer or if he becomes the next victim. You have written such a compelling review. I'm in!

The plot for this thriller fiction novel is perfect for adding suspense at every page. I especially like how the author makes you second guess every character and the climax is done perfectly. I wonder if Alton is able to stop Reid's extortion and who is behind all the chaos. Congrats on the BOTD!

I cannot relate to the world of Hollywood stars, and am not particularly interested in it either, but the storyline of this book seems quite interesting.

I love reading enchanting thrillers. Given that Dark Vanity by Gregory E Seller has a great plot gives me the urge to read the book. I will add it to my to-read list. Congratulations on the BOTD.

I like how the setup of this story about a charming but sociopathic man becomes so much more interesting because that same man is a Hollywood star, and his victims are also in the industry. Congratulations to the author for BOTD!

This sounds like a must-read for fans of suspenseful thrillers. I love that the characters are multidimensional and realistic, and Reid sounds like an absolute monster. The title and cover of the book are eye-catching as well. Thank you for the review and recommendation!

This thriller, Dark Vanity, provides a look into Hollywood. I liked the way each chapter appeared as if a cut from a movie script. The narrative is a bit dark and unappealing to me, so I will pass on this one.
