I haven't read many books that have implemented a modern-day slavery theme into it, so I'm sure this one will raise a number of eyebrows and pique interest!

Corrigendum by E.W. Johnson M.D. is a book that addressed some social vices ranging from murder, human trafficking to modern day slavery. I enjoyed the read and review.

This novel, by E W Johnson, is an engaging story for fans that enjoy murder and mystery. It delves into the fate of a young Asian woman who is found dead, the day after visiting the Doctor's surgery. The characters of Dr. Nolan, his nurse Cat and receptionist Amanda (aka Office manager) were interesting, as was the banter between them. I like the fact that the subject of human trafficking/sex slavery is raised within the narrative, though the good doctor's political views did not add any value to the plot for me.

Thrillers and mysteries are genres I quite avoid. Thank you to the reviewer's warning

I didn't want to stop reading the sample! And the book review was also written well. I like the main character, Dr. Sean Nolan. He goes the extra mile for his patients and truly cares about them outside of the doctor's office. I am happy to hear that this is a series of books.

Corrigendum by E.W. Johnson M.D. is a mystery novel surrounding the death of a young woman. The police write off the murder, but Dr. Sean Nolan, who knew her, had to do something.

Dr. Nolan is a perfectly developed character. Would love to read what will happen to Dr. Nolan in the Asian murder case and where will find trouble this time.

This novel has a mystery element and is set after a pandemic. What I find most intriguing is the author's talent in writing as there is no unnecessary fillers. I'm curious to find out who the murderer is. Congrats on the BOTD!

What a unique concept, using the more recent pandemic and it's after-effects as a setting for this story. I admire the author for taking this approach as I know a lot of people who would prefer to pretend it never happened.

Looking at the book cover I was expecting another kind of story. I am glad it turned out to be a thriller. I enjoyed reading your review, it is engaging and very informative. Dr Nolan seems to be a very interesting character. I will add this book to my shelves.
