I love that the protagonist is not a detective but a doctor and ordinary citizen. Dr Nolan seems to be a great character, I am sure glad there is humor in this book as it lightens the suspense.

The author does a great job sucking in the reader in the first chapter. This is good stuff right here. And although I don't like beginning a book late into a series, I may have to check out the first installment. Congrats to Dr. Johnson on his achievement and BOTD.

I understand that the author has a medical background, which adds a lot of credible information to the story.

I'm glad that Dr. Nolan had people watching his back because it's hard to trust anyone when it comes to issues like this. The plot is intriguing and mysterious. Congrats on BOTD!!

I like well-paced mystery novels, and this book is one of them. The title itself is convincing enough to make it worth a read.

The book sounds interesting with suspense and mystery. And Dr. Nolan seems an appealing character, and I'm curious about how he's going to solve the mystery. Looking forward to reading it. Thanks for the review.

Mystery novels are always interesting, especially when the reader can connect with the characters and today's BOTD sounds like a good read.

A protagonist who loves solving mysteries, this is surely an intriguing read. I'm left wondering what it is that the doctor knows about his patient that others don't.

I always wonder how so many non detectives end up as paper detectives in novels. Police in real life aren’t generally so accepting! Either way the book sounds interesting.

The mystery and suspense described in the review gives one an imagination and sparks the interest of wanting to read the book. Dr. Nolan is a curious character and I would love to see how he solves the mystery. This is a very good review.

I am reading "Contrived" by E.W. Johnson M.D., to know how Dr. Sean Nolan solved the mystery behind his patient who drowned in a river and his body went missing.
