Regarding Tree of Redemption by Chris Davidson,
“Chris returns to Laredo from Virginia to pay his last respect to his friend, surrogate father, and mentor, Armando Chico Guerra, whose unknown age-long enemy has just been murdered.”

This quote is from the review. It is my understanding that AC Guerra has been murdered. The quote from the review states that the ‘unknown age-long enemy’ has been murdered. I find this sentence from the review quite confusing. Also, wouldn’t it be paying last respects, not singular respect? Was this in the review to inspire us to read the mystery?
It certainly does seem like this book has a few good twists, turns and life lessons. People ARE so much more important than money and relationships make for a happy and rewarding, hence rich, life.

Murder mysteries are a dime-a-dozen, however it's the settings and characters that make them shine! This rich setting and dynamic development of the main character sounds like it makes for an intriguing read.

I like the premise of this book. Though it is a murder and revenge story, the underlying tone of the importance of relationships makes it an amazing read.

This book has a very interesting storyline! I am impressed Chris wanted to get revenge on whoever killed his friend, even though he was not the type of person that would typically do that. He was a loyal friend even to consider it! Nice review!

I totally agree with the author on the importance of maintaining valuable friendships. To be successful in life, you cannot just walk alone. You need people who can hold your hand. Chris benefits greatly from the friends his father had. The review was perfectly done. The author also did a good job in the writing of the book.

And since I'm Mexican I could find this especially interesting.

This is a great mystery novel embarking on a journey to find out who the killer is. My favorite aspect of the book is the central message surrounding the plot which is a strong emphasis on the importance of building strong relationships. Congrats on the BOTD!

An interesting murder story revolving around two small towns can be found in the book "Tree of Redemption" by Jim Davidson. The story follows Chris, who is bent on unearthing the killer of his dear friend. This book looks entertaining to me.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.
