This book features the COVID 19 pandemic as it had an impact on the mass world wide...I think it's worth reading as it clears the doubts and misconception on pandemics

The book opens with Emily and Matt enjoying the beach. The beautiful setting changes drastically, and as a reader, I was drawn in instantly. With Dr. Mallory in the picture, bioterrorism, and the relatability with the recent COVID-19, the plot is appealing.

I seldom read books about bioterrorism because I don't see them often on bookshelves. This will be a good time. The stakes are pretty high, and I am sure many people can feel the tension after living through a pandemic.
I write the best reviews possible. :idea2:

This sounds like a gripping read! The comparison to authors like Robin Cook and Michael Crichton sets high expectations, and the high number of positive reviews suggests it's well worth diving into. If you're into medical thrillers and bio-terrorism plots, "Particles in the Air" might be a must-read.

Great review! It sounds like Particles in the Air really delivers as a medical thriller. I love that the author’s expertise in immunology adds so much credibility to the plot and characters, especially in such a high-stakes scenario like bioterrorism. The fast-paced, multi-perspective storytelling seems like it keeps the suspense going!

What a great review, Emily! My thoughts after sampling a few chapters resonate with your review. I loved the episodes introducing the characters - Mallory, Erik, and others. I have yet to read about the invention of the deadly virus and Mallory's investigation, but I look forward to it.

"Particles in the Air" by Jenna Podjasek, MD is a medical thriller based on bioterrorism. A disgruntled scientist will create a new virus and spread it, which will lead to panic and chaos. Protagonist Dr. Mallory Hayes is an infectious disease specialist who will be the first to confirm suspicions that it is bioterrorism.

Corona, or COVID-19, has given the entire world quite a scare. However, it also opened up new possibilities in storytelling, and today's story is one such story. Congratulations on the BOTD, and best wishes for future projects.

The book sounds very exciting. It's an intense race with two competitors: the virus and the humans and the question of who will eliminate whom first. I also like that each chapter is written from a different character perspective so we can experience their feelings and emotions "first hand" so to say. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

Seems interesting. The concepts of bioterrorism and virus. And the writing style that features different point of view to derive the point. It's really great to know that the book has prospective of good and bad guys so that we get more engaged in book.

Will bioterrorism unleash a super-virus in the future? Will we be equipped to handle it? What is the worst that could happen? How will we survive? Particles in the Air is a gripping story that will keep you on the edge of your seat.

I am not in the medical field, but the book sounds gripping. Bioterrorism has become another threat to society. In whose hands are we safe if a disgruntled scientist can create a virus and unleash it to cause chaos and panic? Congratulations on BOTD!

I am not really all that much into science, because I am more of an artistic sort, but in my opinion, bioterrorism is going to be a new level of chaos that our world faces and, as such, I would like to get some possible predictions of how this can play out. Congrats with BOTD!

This is my first time reading a medical thriller and the suspense and I must say it got me hooked. I recommend reading this book anytime.
