Thank you for the informative review. "Harper's Bizarre" is about the happenings in a small town. People think that in small towns nothing bad happens, but that is not true. I lived in a small town for 15 years and all kinds of awful things happened there. People are the same whether they live in a small town or a big town. The only difference is that in a large town or city, you can sort of disappear into the woodwork.

Great review. This is the story of a strange town, its unusual inhabitants, and its crimes. I want to read more to find out what happened to Peter and his son.

"Harper's Bizarre" by Mike Thorne. An interesting bizarre story. Talks about Peter Dewberry, looking for his son's stolen bike with his dog in the middle of the night. It was seen but Peter never returned. This book is filled with crimes, suicide and negative adventures. The author's writing style is great and understandable readers. Congrats on your #BOTD.

"Harper’s Bizarre" by Mike Thorne presents a gripping narrative set in the troubled town of Harper. The story unfolds with Peter Dewberry's quest to find his son's stolen bike, leading to his mysterious disappearance. Thorne vividly portrays the town's dark underbelly, marked by rampant drug abuse and crime. The book excels in detailed descriptions, creating immersive visuals and connecting diverse characters intriguingly. Despite its strong language, it reflects the town's harsh reality. Excellently edited, the book's captivating storyline and descriptive prowess earn it a 5-star rating. It's recommended for youth impacted by social vices and fans of crime and murder stories.

I also like when the chapters are tailored to the purpose at hand. They make reading more refreshing. The secrets of the town are alluring, however, the book cover has put me off a little. Congratulations on the BOTD.

The different stories sound interesting and it will be great to see how they all fit together. I like crime novels so will definitely explore this one. Drugs and schizophrenia must be a lethal combination. Thanks for the great review.

It might be interesting, even though it is quite bizarre for me how someone can believe the phrase "college towns where nothing bad happens" can be true. I mean really, don't you know what is going on with uncontrolled youths in there? Heavy partying is the least evil, but still going to give it a chance!

Harper's Bizarre is a crime novel based on real events and a lot of imagination. In it, Mike Thorne, its author, introduces us fully into the lives of the inhabitants of the town in which it is located in order to investigate the murder of one of its neighbors. Intriguing, to say the least, this book is ideal for a good late-night reading session.

Congrats on BOTD!
Mike Thorne, "Harper's Bizarre" An oddball, fascinating tale. Discusses Peter Dewberry's nighttime dog searches for his son's pilfered bicycle. Though seen, Peter never came back. Crimes, suicide, and unpleasant experiences abound in this book.
